Just say "NO"

When in doubt and you don't really know what the Palm Beach Commission has in store for you--vote NO. And think about this--it is the opposite of the Palm Beach Post endorsement so there must be something very wise about your NO vote. That's logical enough for me.

This sales tax is nearly 17 percent tax hike or the $2.7 billion in income that it’s expected to generate over the next 10 years.

The reasons to vote NO

The majority County Commission has proven themselves to be in bed with any developer who comes along and asks to not pay for concurrency for massive developments, particularly in western Palm Beach County.

These Commissioners now come to us taxpayers and ask us to pay again because they have run out of funds because of their cozy relationships with developers.

They also want a large slush fund so they can play big shots with the Atlanta Braves who want to destroy John Prince Park with Joni Mitchell's parking lot and a huge stadium.
Traffic? No problem. We have a STUDY...

Vote AGAINST the penny County tax and while you're at it, Vote AGAINST Lake Worth's $40,000,000.00, 30 year bond.
