Former Sniper believes Secret Service allowed shooting to happen

Congressman Cory Mills left off House Trump assassination attempt task force

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) named his seven members of the task force set to investigate the mass security failure that nearly ended up with the murder of Donald Trump on live television.

One of the Republicans not on the task force was Congressman and former sniper Cory Mills (R-FL). That was an odd omission on Johnson’s part as Mills served as a sniper and that expertise would seem like a natural fit for the task force.

But Mills posted on social media that the reason Johnson left him off the task force is because Mills is asking questions the Washington, D.C. Swamp is afraid to answer.

In an interview with CNN at the Republican National Convention, Mills stunned CNN host Kate Bolduan by telling that his experience as an Army sniper led him in the direction of believing the Secret Service leadership let the gunman try and kill Donald Trump.

He will form his own investigative team at his expense to get to the truth.
