Omari Hardy - Where does he work?

Omari Hardy, running for District 2 commissioner in Lake Worth, is still a mystery. He says he is a Civics Teacher at Roosevelt Middle School in West Palm Beach but he can't be found on any official record at the school's web site!?

He's not on the roster

He's also not on the telephone list. Perhaps the school simply has not updated its roster of teachers as well as its voice mailbox numbers as of this morning?  Maybe he needs this part-time commission job that pays $30,500 a year including car allowance more than we know?

Maybe the fake news site pbpost knows more than you.

It's time to add a minimum residency requirement to the qualifications for running for office in Lake Worth.

He moves into town a couple of years ago and now wants to tell all of us how our city should run.

Vote McVoy on March 14th !

Remember Rene Varela? He only lived here 2 years...ended up leaving town and cost us $25,000 for a special election. Two years is ok but being a long-time resident certainly is 1,000% better.
The problem here is that a lot of what Omari says can't be verified. We know he voted in Lake Worth for the very first time last year.

Have you ever thought of calling the school?

And the car allowance is another $6,000.

I had never seen this guy before. Who is he? And where does he really live? In charity family housing across from Lake Worth High School? And he doesn't have a family? Is this a total put-up job? Why is someone always trying to con us?

@9:30--is that a serious question?

How are their salaries determined, and who votes to approve them? I don't know anybody that gets a 100% increase in salary like these people. This is what should be changed. How much do commissioners in similar demographic locations earn. Where is this money coming from? Maybe we could have fewer commissioners.
Fewer people in government: whether city, county, state, or federal. We'd save a lot of money and all be better off.

They voted themselves in the raise. Omari, can't find a thing out about him. Overbearing personality. he and Scott will get along just fine I would imagine.

We need a person of color on the council.

Lynn Anderson said...

What we need, anonymous, is someone qualified. McVoy, a long time resident of this city, is that person. Color has nothing to do with it.

People make the mistake of thinking that just because someone of color runs for office, he is somehow better than his white counterpart. Check out some of the leaders in Sub-Saharan Africa. See how they are doing; then give a report on someone of color on the council. I like the Haitians, but I don't think the leaders of color in Haiti have left it in very good shape. Color is not the criteria. Experience, and good judgement are what make good leaders. Not many of these around in any color.

Hey 4:31 when you go in for heart surgery do you say " I need a surgeon of color to operate on me! " Of course not-you want the best ,most qualified Dr.to crack open your chest.
We need to vote on the basis of qualifications, not skin color. So racist!

Nice. Someone hustled and got it corrected. Too bad there are/were so many questions about where he lives and where he works.

Hi Menge!

Now you're worried about where he lives? Lynn, quit playing in the mud and stick to issues. You should also retract your original post about his employment. you want to be fair, right.

Lynn Anderson said...

I have done enough on Omari Hardy. I have the screen shot where he was NOT on the roster. So, Omari hurried and got the school to change it yesterday?
Sorry, I go with the FACTS in front of me and I research it thoroughly. I don't need to "retract" anything.
Sure, I'm concerned about where he lives...affordable housing for families when he works as a school teacher? That is a concern.

Sad!

Lynn also exposed his Facebook page for stating he lived in Coral Gables. That very day it was taken down.

Researched the facts? Did you call the school before posting? No. Schools dont employ full-time webmasters Lynn. Unlike bloggers, their focus is teaching students. Omari works as an evening manager for Adopt a Family. He is required to live on premise. His apartment is part of the compensation upon which he pays employee taxes. Did you call Adopt-a-family? No. Didnt want the truth. Wouldnt fit with your narrative. Fake news.

Lynn Anderson said...

Sorry you're so upset. Called both places, anonymous. The only thing that was confirmed by Adopt a Family was that he had a unit there...would not tell me the apt number or anything. The school would not give any info at all.

I don't have a narrative that I am trying to fit something into.

You're a trip 11:49, does the daytime manager have to live there too? What public school teachers are you referring to that teach the public school students? Either they are found out to have molested the students, or they are spending their time counting up how many years they need to collect their pensions. Your ability to make excuses for even the most egregious members of our population is what got us here in the first place. I still don't know what this guy has to offer Lake Worth. Elucidate Please!
By the way, what are employee taxes?

I do remember Rene Varela. He was a classy guy. Too classy for this dump. I think he threw his hands up in despair, was offered a good job, and got the hell out of here.

Anonymous said...

if this is such a dump why are you still here.some of us would like to help fix it not disgrace it

Anonymous said...

You're a fool 9:22. What kind of a sentiment is that? You would like to fix it up. Who's stopping you. What are you going to start with? A toothbrush! People lost a lot of money here, that's why they are here. Where have you been that you don't know that.
