Marco Rubio, working hard for America

Some challengers ask Marco Rubio what he has done or what is he doing?  They have no clue.

Just last week alone, Rubio has
  • urged President Obama to grant Governor Scott’s request for an emergency declaration for Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties. The request comes after these counties experienced severe storms, heavy rainfall, flooding and multiple tornadoes. “As Floridians continue to reel from powerful and numerous storms, I write in support of Governor Scott’s recent request for an emergency declaration for Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties,” Marco wrote. “Floridians are not strangers to sever weather, and I commend the Governor for the quick response. I respectfully request you give Governor Scott’s petition for an emergency declaration for Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties the careful consideration it deserves.” Read Marco’s full letter in support of the emergency declaration here
  • Marco called for reform of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in the wake of a recently released investigation related to allegations of wait time manipulation at VA facilities in Florida and throughout the country. “ The VA’s sole responsibility is to serve our nation’s veterans, yet time and time again I hear from veterans whose experiences prove it has failed to do so properly,” Marco said. “Our veterans should not have to wait for the care and treatment they deserve. It’s time we start implementing and enforcing the accountability measures I helped pass to hold incompetent, negligent and corrupt managers accountable.” Read Marco’s full statement on VA reform in the Florida Times-Union story here
  • Marco joined with 123 Members of Congress to demand transparency from the Obama Administration regarding federal funding of Planned Parenthood. “We are writing to request up-to-date information regarding federal funding of Planned Parenthood, International Planned Parenthood Federation and Marie Stopes International,” the Members wrote. “Proper oversight of publicly funded programs is crucial in determining the value of the goods and services provided to the taxpayer, and allow policymakers to more carefully and thoroughly review them.” Read the Members’ full letter to the Comptroller General here
  • Marco responded to the announcement that Secretary of State John Kerry is cancelling his trip to Cuba. “ I am heartened that the administration is even trying to raise issues related to human rights, but the President of the United States, as the leader of the free world, should never have to negotiate the right to meet freedom fighters or raise issues of concern when traveling abroad,” Marco said . “I again call on the President to cancel his trip planned for later this month. The Castro regime is not worthy of the honor of a visit by an American president and the Cuban people deserve better than a continuation of a failed policy that only empowers their oppressors.” Read Marco’s full response to the Secretary’s announcement here.

I just want to know the truth about all of them. I don't like what I hear about Rubio or Trump. Cruz is looking better and better. Rubio has done some nasty stuff with his work credit cards, double dipping, and missing votes. Trump has done a lot with his scam Trump university, his KKK stuff, and like Mitt said he is a scam artist. I really do not trust any politicians anymore. Look at the Trio here in Lake Worth, how corrupt and dishonest they are. I do not think Rubio or Trump are very honest or good for our country. Maybe Cruz, Hillary too has too many issues, maybe Bernie. I just want to know the truth about all of them, I hope the truth comes out. How many of the presidential candidates have been arrested before or have been investigated for criminal activity? I am so distrusting of candidates today. I want the whole truth to come out for every candidate.
