Hudson Holdings gave $9,000 to a Tallahassee PAC to influence our elections--one mailer was in favor of the Trio (and why wouldn't they be in favor...the incumbents gave them the up-zoning at the Gulfstream property). Hudson wanted to grab our beach complex for a possible 99 year lease after renewals in order to make their investment in Lake Worth even more valuable. That idea has not been put to bed. You can bet it will resurface if you don't change the present dais.
The other mailer was a "hit" piece on their opponents who all were for the Charter Heights Amendment in our downtown that won by 57% of the electorate.

Scotty needs his own pocket ! LOL! Seriously, the amount of cash and WHO THESE THREE PIGS IN A POCKET accepted it from is obscene!(How close can Mark Foley live to a school?) They don't care about us. They are working for outside interests that want to destroy our town as we know and love it.Our only hope is to throw these three out of office!

I find it hard to believe that people in this city are stupid enough to believe that the trio will not give away our beach. $9000 from Hudson Holdings?? What other proof do you need?

Did anyone ever say anything about "sold" selling our beach? Stop all our BS. I read enough of it in your Hudson hit piece. What a bunch of crap.
VERY LITTLE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SELLING AND LEASING. WE STILL LOOSE OUR PUBLIC BEACH. Yep you can keep saying that we are not selling our beach, That just lets you skirt the issue of leasing our beach. Jerk
Now back to the Gulfstream Hotel. Wait for it, wait for it, OOPS! Sorry now the building has to be demolished because we had an accident.
The commenter above is right. The beach cannot be sold, and will not be sold. It is going to be GIVEN away to Hudson Holdings! In fact, WE are going to pay THEM a "management fee" for the pleasure of turning over control of our city-owned Casino building to them. It is SO MUCH WORSE than is normally stated on this blog or anywhere else.
Yup, waiting for the accident at the Gulfstream during "renovations". Sad but true, then maybe all who claim HH will be a our savior will understand that they are only out for themselves.
