We're very sad to announce that we will be temporarily closing until we come under new ownership.

Who knows if they even put in a new restaurant there. It could be a pawn shop.

Or maybe someone wants to open another church and take this property off the tax roles too.

i think they should sell illegal drugs their--the police would love it since they got caught selling steroids and pills on duty with their guns out of lake worth wellness center and wellington wellness---14 officers involved but they have tried to keep it under the rug---but google it --i even called the west palm commission and yes they knew about it but also kept it quit----ask yourself why?

I would doubt that a church would go there but better God's word than kava, vape, Hookah, booze and Jordan blocking the entire street to make money for his nightclub. This town sucks.

One door closes another one opens.
Delray restaurateur’s looking to open new restaurant on Lake Ave in downtown Lake Worth. They say, “We’re on Atlantic Avenue now and I think Lake Avenue in Lake Worth could be the next Delray-type hot spot,” in five or 10 years, they say. “They’ve already done a pretty good job with that Lake Avenue area.” Seems the prosperity clock is running for our city.

Sad, the restaurant business is notoriously tough, most close or rebrand every 5-10 years or so. But, LW downtown has only gone downhill lately, so much crime, carjackings right near Rotelli's, shootings, CJ's losers fighting in the middle of the ave. and no police presence at all.

I used to go downtown each and every weekend, but I've cut way back. I won't go down unless my husband comes with me, too many homeless druggies and sketchy criminals about. I simply don't feel safe. Instead of walking downtown, which is one of the reasons we bought here, I get in my car and go else where.

Greg, Such BS. Another restaurant that the middle class people can't afford to eat at. What does this mean that you all are going to change from Dave's to a new restaurant. I used to like you but recently you have shown your true colors and now I have definitely changed my mind about you.

I will never eat at Dave's again. And neither will anyone that cares about John Prince Park. But don't worry as long as Maxwell drinks there, Daves will stay afloat. Heck, any bar could with Maxwell's help.
