Yeeah for Diane. At least she is honest and tells it like it is. I have met her and I BELIEVE HER. I have met Pam and SHE SKIRTED SO MANY ISSUES AND LIED SO MUCH. She couldn't even provide me with proof of 1/2 of what she was saying.
I have researched everything she has said and found them to be true. I have researched everything that Pam, Maxwell, and Andy have said and found that 90% of the information they are giving you is an out and out lie and the other 10% is half truths. Who do you think I will be voting for. Not the ATM
I just read this article on Facebook. Diane talked about how nasty her opponent and her supporters are, and I know what she means. I got tons of negative stuff in the mail this week, and now I just throw that crap in the trash. I was planning to vote for the mayor, but she lost my vote when she started running a negative campaign. There's too much of that in politics today. I won't vote for her now. I hope she loses.
When you are bombarded with so much negative campaigning you have to wonder why. I was going to vote for Pam too but now I have definately changed my mind. I wonder who is running the show her or Maxwell.
I think I know why Andy gets away with his porno shop in front and in back of his store, the avoidance of fire code violations for his store and the fact that his store is not handicapped accessible. Look at the contributions from the police benevolent association and the fire fighters association. Payola reigns. No one else would get away with this shit. CORRUPTION
1. Diane didn't pay the filing fee. Maybe if she had thousands and thousands thrown her way by murky political "supporters" she could play fast and loose with cash.
2. She didn't attend the forums because she was intimidated. Did these people ever meet Diane? She is a self-confident, assertive woman who doesn't back down to anyone when she's in the right. She was very ill for nearly a month from a superbug and was housebound and couldn't make the forums or what have you (as her opponent very well knew, but chooses to pretend not to).
3. A new low in the "dirty tricks" department. There is a whispering campaign that Diane is to ill to actually serve Lake Worth. Complete nonsense. She knocked on my door recently and if she's ill or intimidated, you sure could'a fooled me.
At no time during our talk did she lower herself to personal attack, innuendo, and character assassination that has been the hallmark of her opponent's minions. They snark, and smear, while Ms. T holds herself above the fray, pretending not to know what's being done under her name. Disgusting. I am left to wonder just what is going on. Why the massive outpouring of money to defeat a novice political candidate with nothing at stake but a desire to improve the everyday living conditions of Lake Worth citizens. Very peculiar, to say the least.
Dear Lynn, I value your opinion. Can you please tell me which candidate to vote for for mayor? Diane or the other candidate. I won't vote for any incumbents. Who are you voting for for mayor, Diane? OK do you think the other candidate is better for our city, I need some help with this one deciding. Please help! We vote in two days. Thanks!
Strange. An anonymous poster says No link here. An ANONYMOUS poster mind you, and in exactly 8 minutes you respond- click on "your" name. The rest of the posts pretty much repeat the same mantra. I was going to vote for Pam but now i'm not. I'm pretty sure you don't pollute your own blog with your own "anonymous" posts, but.
This Blog is a highly focussed campaign by just a few people to try to trick anyone who stumble on to this site into thinking it's more. It's not. Kind of reminds me of the Wizard of Oz who really isn't a wizard at all. Just sad. But of course that is the purpose, to snag as many as they can. Unfortunately or fortunately for the City of Lake Worth it is a tiny little group.
I've been blogging since the end of 2008. I don't advertise this blog but many people read it, anonymous above. There are two distinct philosophies here in LW--Allow Lake Worth to develop and go higher or keep our city a low rise. I am of the latter. Basically that is it. You should read my blog more often...perhaps you would learn something.
