Didn't McVoy take part in those buffets too?

Lynn Anderson said...

No.

Lynn how can you be so sure?

McVoy always gets to the meetings one or two minutes late. McVoy doesn't really believe in the free lunch.

If you're talking about the bullet points on this mailer which is Ryan Maier's, I am absolutely sure they are 100% correct.

Mike Callahan said...

The most significant points in the mailer are that unelected Cmr. Szerdi voted to give himself $800,000.00 to spend at his discretion, a perfect recipe for kickbacks and corruption, and that he is involved with a company that wants to build 40,000 sq. ft. of additional concrete to commercialize our beach and block the ocean views. The people were adamantly against any larger building than what was is now there.
Vote for honesty.
Vote Ryan Maier!

Excuse me Mike, but if you had been following all the commissioners would have received $800,00.00 for their district, I guess McVoy could also be accused of getting kick backs.
The money was for the districts for enhancement to the district, traffic calming, beautification, etc. My god now you are all talking conspiracies

Mcvoy voted against the GO

I've seen McVoy eating from the community bowl of brown rice and kale that the freaks bring to the meetings, so what about that free lunch?

A political hit piece with no mention of who paid to send it out. Big violation here. Good thing there's screen shots.

Disclaimer is on the front side, anonymous. Don't get your little self in a tizzy.

It was not free, all the commissioners took turns buying the food. Maxwell says he has receipts proving McVoy participated.

Can Maxwell speak for himself? He does a good job when he's up on the dais, being obnoxious and all.

Since when does the truth become a hit piece?

Speaking of trust...

I received a piece of campaign material over the weekend from Mr. Maier. Very interesting that it had a sticker on it covering up something. Being the curious person I am, I pulled it off to reveal it was covering up his statements about being on a city board.

Now why would such an honest and 'trusted' person cover up something anyway, but especially something that has been a key piece of his campaign and why he's qualified? Did he suddenly lose interest in promoting that or was there some other reason? Either way, why is he now trying to hide it? Seems like something is going on here.

Pretty hypocritical, it's OK for McVoy to share a meal, but not Zerdi!

Lynn Anderson said...

McVoy paid for some meals and imbibed at very few of them...certainly not in Bornstein's office out of public view.

Reminder--this is the back of Maier's mailer, not McVoy's. Thanks.

Szerdi can share as many meals as his heart desires.

At least this all is not a "free lunch" on the taxpayers but it does bring up Sunshine law perception.
