Save our water--
This
is a horrific symptom of years of water mismanagement that we are seeing play
out in our waterways and oceans throughout South Florida today.
Here is the
solution: Buy the land in the EAA. Build the reservoir. Restore the flow of
CLEAN freshwater into our Everglades and get it down to a starving Florida Bay, says the Everglades Trust.

We passed an amendment with overwhelming majority to buy the land. Now big sugar is playing cute and asking for more from their sweetheart cronies. It's way past time and we are losing our environment rapidly. We need to vote out all this dead wood in Tallahassee who only goes there to line their own pockets. Our biggest industry is tourism. This is down the drain because no one in their right mind will vacation in toxic algae. We have known for many years that the cause is big sugar and big Ag with their massive dumping of nitrogen and phosphorus runoff into our water systems. I still see no reason why they should not be held accountable. This, ultimately is our drinking water and it is criminal. Where is the governor?? At least Martin County is trying to take action. I would like to mail some of this toxic sludge COD to Congress.
