City of Lake Worth Raw Water Well #01 absent of E-coli

July 25, 2016 - Lake Worth, Fla. - The City of Lake Worth has lifted its Drinking Water Warning following five samplings that showed no sign of E-coli.

Extensive tests to Well #01 and the point of entry to the water distribution system, each resulted in negative findings Saturday.

On Friday, when samples from Well #01 tested positive for E-coli, the well was re-sampled for verification and turned off.
