Algae - Who and what is to blame?

Everyone now can put their mind to rest as to the cause of the algae--

Pollution from population growth and urban development — not water releases from Lake Okeechobee — is the primary cause of the foul-smelling slime turning many waterways in Martin County a bright blue-green, an expert in algae blooms said Thursday.

Now, what to do about it?

Oh, and don't forget, kick all the bums out at the county level.

Quite frankly,BULLCRAP! Wonder how much he got paid to say "Oh no,it wasn't poor little BIG AG "!!!!!
We know damn well it was the polluted crap from Lake O that did this !

Sorry, it starts with the over-development and county commissioners decisions to allow it.
