WJNO interviews with Lake Worth Mayoral Candidates

Comment Up

Click here... to listen to the WJNO interviews with Gary Antieau, Diane Jacques and Pam Triolo.

It's really too bad that the Mayor had to lie and play politics. It's too bad that all the truth was not stated.  The highly charged political letter by Pam Triolo to the residents of Palm Beach Mobile Home Park. Read it and see exactly who is trying to scare little Senior citizens.

As a resident said to me:

Let me think about the good things the trio has done.
Fixed pot holes - Nope not a good thing
Curbed Crime - Nope, not a good thing
Decreased Urban Blight - Nope definitely not a good thing.
Gave raises to the people who maintain this city - Nope, because they don't agree to the terms for their raises. [Editor's note--they were given a raise but they have yet to receive it because of Union negotiations].
Fixed our roads - Nope, but they have a plan for Boutwell Road, which is about a quarter of a mile long, for millions of dollars, Whoopee!
Promoted small businesses - Nope not seeing that either, Want the big box stores and large businesses here, Oh yeah and warehouses in the Boutwell Business center. How many will that employ after completion.
Up-zoning and Rezoning for their pet projects - Nope that is not a good thing either.
Listening to what the people of Lake Worth really want to see in their city, Nope that ain't happening either.
Can't take credit for the Street Painting Festival Success (which is what they tried to do) - Nope that has been here for many years and the artists are the ones who deserve the credit.
Damn I am still looking for the good things Triolo, Maxwell and Amoroso have done for this city. I promise I will let you know as soon as I find something.

The resident forgot to mention in appropriation of parking spots to Benny's on the Beach. Don't think that was a good thing either.

I agree with the above poster, I hate the trio for moving half hour parking and messing things up like that for us, it is easier when it is all concentrated in one area to find parking.

I won't vote for pam, andy, nor scott, nor will I ever go to Benny's again, I do not approve of this pay to play, it is unethical and corrupt and that is what these three incumbents are. And the owners of Benny's are unethical for what they did to us in this city.

I hope in one week when we vote, all three get kicked the hell our of this city for good. They are all assholes!

I like the parking closer to the pier. We park, walk straight up the stairs to the beach without having to walk past people eating.

For those of you who just can’t get enough of Pothole Pam, there’s now 35 thousand times more of her, and I’m not talking campaign finance, folks. Oh, no! I’m talking Robo-Pam, Pam-Zilla. Her grinning mug now adorns a billboard. Not even our presidential hopefuls dared to create such freakishly weird display of their political ambitions. In this towering monument to small town politics, an average-sized man could stand erect in her nostril. Honestly, I almost drove off 1-95 when her GIGANTIC face popped out in all of its neon splendor. She’s big, she’s bold and she’s 6 stories high, kinda like those buildings she wants to erect. Egads! Did she really think THAT was a good idea?

No bullying here at all, keeping it classy

OMG. I am glad you warned me of this billboard, I would hate to have an accident when I saw it due to shock factor. I can't believe how self centered this lady is. Really, a damn billboard, that's where all of this contribution money has gone. Hope you all enjoy where your money has gone. Hope you all have listened to her interview with WJNO. She skirted every issue. Did not talk about crime in the city, road conditions, lied about just about everything and credited herself with the raise to city employees. She didn't mention the $10,000 raise or 5 year contract for the city manager (who has done nothing but kiss the trio's ass). Do you honestly see an improvement in our city since these 3 yahoos took it over?? Has the blight improved. Stop Diane Jacques did very well in the interview. she addressed all of the issues we have. She was honest in saying the changes can not happen over night.

Maybe it's a monument to a monumental ego! In the words of Chuck Berry, Good Golly, Molly. What in the world was she thinking? A huge billboard grinning out at the I-95 travelers? Will drivers cruising along at 75 MPH do a double-take and in that split second think who the hell is that??? Let's hope the double-take doesn't result in an increase in fender-benders. If the potholes don't getcha, then the billboard just might!

Bragging about a decrease in the budget? At what cost? Mainly by neglecting essential needs of the residents, you know, boring stuff like roads and sidewalks to name a few.

OH MY GOD. I will have nightmares after seeing this face on the bill board for weeks. I have never seen such an huge egotistical action in any mayor election. Even the president isn't this egotistical. You must be desperate to remain mayor. How many promises have you made to your high money contributors that you will not be able to keep if you don't get back in. Are you three in trouble???? You have already robbed Peter to pay Paul. Now you have made promises you may not be able to keep. OOPS

EEEEEKKK!!! OMG ! I just saw it!!! Watch out I-95 drivers ! IT's THE ATTACK OF THE 50 FOOT WOMAN !!!! Finally ,something bigger than Pot Hole Pam Triolo's ego -A huge billboard of her face !!! OMG this is so over the top, I couldn't stop laughing!

Whoops. I meant Little Richard, singing "Good Golly, Miss Molly." Remember Elvis singing "I'm all shook up?" Well, that's me after glimpsing the FACE.I was just so shook up by the huge face grinning down at me. My oh my oh my.

Could you guys get back to the original blog about the interviews or are you so embarrassed by your candidates performances that you are diverting the discussion? You sound like a bunch of 5th graders bullying....give me a break. I doubt you will post oh well.

Not ashamed of our candidates. Pam should be totally ashamed of her interview as she skirted every issue and lied so much that I thought my ears were going to burn. At least Diane carried the interview very well and spoke about what the people of Lake Worth really want and not what the LO TRIO wants.

Sounds like someones a bit touchy about their girl's billboard. It's actually hilarious. I wonder how many times a day she drives up and down I-95 just to see her gigantic face hovering over her subjects? Best laugh I've had for week.

isn't there a sign size limit

So here's all the jerk offs that complain when nobody listens to them. I wonder why Pam laughs in all your faces?

I haven't had the pleasure (or shock) of seeing Pothole Pam hovering over 95. I am however, very impressed with Diane. She has a good platform, one that centers on the needs and wants of the people who live here. She is intelligent, clear, and concise in her presentation.
I think she will make an excellent Mayor. It will be so nice to have government back in the sunshine. She has some great ideas for the city as well. It would be so nice to not have to fight tooth and nail against City Hall to just keep what is ours. I don't understand why the trio can't just be honest and go work for Hudson Holdings. I've already voted for Diane because I don't want any more lies, and I've just heard a bunch from Pam in that interview. Truth wills out.

I recall the parking was changed so it would put at least some of the space closer to the beach and pier. I like it because I don't have to walk so far.
