The crime reports here are only from a 2 mile radius from where I live. This is a drop in the bucket as our city is six square miles. Consider what is going on in other parts never depicted here. If a police report has been filed, it is a crime no matter how insignificant one might believe it to be. You can't twist truth. The national median for crimes per 1,000 residents is 3.8 with Florida at 4.70. Lake Worth's is 12.83.

Everyone knows we have a lot of crime. If we didn't, then why all the crime walks? The city doesn't want to bring bad attention to itself and would rather complain about our beach.
Not only the crime walks, but just about every neighborhood association applied for crime watch grants. We all know crime is a major problem in this City. I hate to see the crime in the news as much as anyone. But, we can't stick our heads in the sand and pretend crime doesn't exist.
More than anything else, crime is our biggest issue. Following that, code and blight.

New City Manager Bornstein, here 2 1/2 years ,has not been able to make the fabulously located, Oceanfront Palm Beach Island ,Lake Worth Glamorous,(swimming pool cocktail parties, Poolside Art Shows.etc.,
lucrative Olympic Size swimming pool,generate profitable revenue, due to lack of management skill of this pool,
therefore we need a new real City manager, not destroy Lake Worth Citizens' needed pool for small children's drowning prevention, schools' swimming lessons, Seniors Aquatic exercises,
to alleviate arthritis and other pains,Olympic Teams' training. It has been proven scientifically, that autistic children unwind, cheer up, when in a swimming pool.
Lake Worth Citizens do not need to destroy our pool,for a 2 1/2 year non-performing City manager.We need to hire a City manager who can Manage ALL Lake Worth Assets, and can generate revenue, with ,
