Fox News hires new Commentator

Fox News has been annoying me lately.  There are way too many liberal "contributors" (Fox News' way to show to the world that they are fair and balanced) and too much discussion on what drives the Democrats crazy--Trump's gaffes or twisting everything he says into some sort of national scandal.  It has become stupid, the Khan incident being the most stupid of all. Yesterday I wrote to them.

And in a move yesterday, they have hired Taya Kyle, the widow of Navy Seal hero and decorated sniper Chris Kyle. She will now be a contributing member of Fox News. As she believes that military leaders should be allowed to speak at national conventions, I have reservations in her hire and where she stands.  The military should be apolitical and not voice an opinion in a national arena. They answer to their Commander in Chief, the President of the United States. How do they go against his will?

Retired military speaking at national conventions is acceptable as long as they are not being paid. Two of the few former military leaders for whom I 100% trust is Allen West and Ralph Peters.

Now if they could only get rid of Alan Colmes, Geraldo, Kirstin Powers and a few silly commenters, I might tune them in like I used to because I don't want to turn on Fox and think I turned on MSNBC by accident.

Riviera Beach commissioners have exchanged e-mails on their personal accounts thinking that this was not a public record and that we pesky part of the public would not find out. Did they learn this from Hillary?

"That exchange is part of 86 pages of documents obtained Wednesday by The Palm Beach Post from the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s office. The documents also were set to be handed to reporters late Wednesday by Fane Lozman, a Riviera Beach and Palm Beach County activist whose August 2015 complaint led to a June 2016 charge against then-council member Guyton."

Palm Beach County students can receive free school supplies courtesy of Enigma Pro Wrestling and community partners to help prepare them for the upcoming school year.

This annual effort by Enigma, prepares students for learning by assisting them in procuring the necessary essentials to start the school year with confidence and readiness. Essentials for K-12 will be distributed by grade level to ensure maximum distribution utilizing official county school supplies list as reference.

Over the past three years, such community partners as Bank United, Clear Fruit, Office Depot, Staples, Office Max, State Farm, Pepsi and Coca Cola have lent support to ensure that these events are meaningful and well stocked.

"This annual event is Enigma's way of giving back," says Executive Producer, Darrian Dority. "Each month our sponsors and the community support our Pro Wrestling events and we realize how invaluable that support is. Therefore we make continuous efforts to give back to truly show appreciation to the fans for adopting Enigma as Florida's very own Pro Wrestling company."

Students who desire to receive the free supplies are encouraged to arrive early with parents or legal guardians who posse a valid identification card, drivers license or equivalent with a Palm Beach County address. Parents can receive supplies for up to three children and they must be present. Supplies will be donated on a first come first served basis, while they last.

Drew Martin is running for Shelley Vana's seat on the Palm Beach County Commission. Vana is term limited and is now running for Palm Beach County Property Appraiser, an office of which she has zero knowledge or experience. Dorothy Jacks is her qualified opponent.

Let's elect an honest man not controlled by developers and other special interests and one who is focused on protecting the county’s Agricultural Reserve and controlling westward development.

I-95 Traffic at 10th Avenue North to be diverted

I -95 northbound traffic will be diverted at 10th Avenue North nightly, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 21 through Thursday, Aug. 25 to allow for bridge beam placement over I-95.

This $11.2 million, 0.579-mile project began construction on Monday, Nov. 2, and is expected to be completed in summer 2017, weather permitting. Work is being performed by Community Asphalt Corp, with Cardno administering the construction contract for FDOT.

Maintenance of Traffic I-95 northbound traffic will be diverted at 10th Avenue North to allow for bridge beam setting over I-95, nightly, 11 p.m. until 5a.m., Sunday, Aug. 21 through Thursday, Aug. 25 FHP will divert I- 95 northbound traffic to the northbound exit ramp at 10th Avenue North. Motorists will then be routed back to I-95 northbound via the northbound I-95 entrance ramp from 10th Avenue North.

We all know, even Democrats, that Trump's stand on Jihadist terrorist Muslims have nothing to do with an American Muslim who was killed in Iraq in the service to his country. This is smut, dirty, stinking politics by Democrats and taking advantage of a Muslim father who is still grieving for his dead son and one who is obviously not thinking straight. Not only do liberals embrace this, they want to shove it down our throats.  More refugees about to enter our country (especially if Hillary gets elected) and even a resolution for Muslims in Lake Worth, the second one in the country. Where's the first one?  Dearborn, Michigan?  Seattle, Washington? Lake Worth says we are engaging in hate speech and this entire commission voted for a resolution to protect people who need no protection.  Vice Mayor Maxwell was counted as a "yes" vote but his lips never moved.

Subject: On the Braves Proposed Stadium in John Prince Park

Commissioner Maxwell:

I am a Lake Worth resident who is concerned about the Atlanta Braves' stadium deal. First a public park is the wrong place to build a baseball stadium. This park is green space set aside for people to visit in their leisure time to get away from the congestion of urban Palm Beach County and partake in recreation. The County is rapidly losing its little-remaining green space and desperately needs John Prince Park.

Also this green space is part of the small amount of wildlife habitat remaining in the County for birds and other species. Without that habitat, many species could parish. Finally, this deal gives the Braves this land at no (or at most) little cost to them. They should not receive such a valuable asset for free, especially considering that they have received free land in previous stadium deals only to leave that area in pursuit of another stadium elsewhere.
