Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced Tuesday that DOJ Inspector
General Mike Horowitz will be leading an investigation into the Obama
administration’s spying on candidate Trump’s campaign, which resulted
from a FISA warrant granted based upon a salacious 35-page lie we now
know as the Trump dossier.

Quote of the Day - Ronald Reagan
“And by the way, the Constitution does not say that government shall decree the right to keep and bear arms. The Constitution says ‘… the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.’”
~ President Ronald Reagan
When speaking before the NRA convention in 1983 he said that gun control is the first step toward the total confiscation of all law-abiding citizens’ guns, and that those who want to inflict harm on others aren’t fazed by stricter gun laws—a nod to the assassination attempt in March 1981. The King of Lake Avenue has been Dethroned
Andy Amoroso has been the face of the downtown but someone crossed the king and he can't do a thing about it.
Commissioner Andy Amoroso is moving from his location on Lake Avenue after 24 years and not because he wants to. The rent, according to him, was raised by 60%. The landlord insists it is fair. He wanted to get released from his lease with the landlord.

The last Neighborhood Association Candidate Forum
The Bryant Park Candidate Forum took place on Monday night at the Beach Club located at the Lake Worth Golf Course. The place was packed. The only bad thing about it all was the fact that the facility did not have toilet tissue in the ladies room. In fact, after telling them about this slight problem before the meeting had started, they never did a thing about it. Someone who had been pointed out to me as the manager told me to tell the cleaning crew. For real.
There was misinformation spewed by several candidates but all in all it was an interesting but a long forum. It was supposed to end by 9pm but lasted until around 9:40.
Sarah Malega, who was well prepared, spoke extemporaneously, answering the questions never referring to notes. She said that the pool is an asset to our city and that everyone wants to be friends of the Lake Worth pool, unless, of course, you are Scott Maxwell who wants it gone. Drew Martin made an interesting point when he asked " if you can't keep the pool opened, how do you manage a $43 million road project? Pam Triolo says she likes the pool.
The most interesting and annoying question, brought up once again, was, "Do you support changing the name of the city to Lake Worth Beach?"
Lake Worth has been its name since 1912 and named after the Lake Worth Lagoon--its name for 96 years. Candidates condensed answers to this question were as follows:
- Pam Triolo: "Investigate it."
- Sarah Malega: "Put it on the Ballot."
- Drew Martin: Showing fiscal responsibility, "Name changes cost a lot of money."
- Scott Maxwell: Wants it changed as we get attributed to crimes in suburbia Lake Worth. "This is a new Lake Worth," he said. This is a ridiculous reason to change the name of our city not to mention the tremendous cost as well as dishonoring our history.

Students protesting violence turn violent
Students from Stagg, Edison, Chavez, Lincoln and Village Oak high schools walked out of class and in the streets creating traffic problems in the area as most streets were blocked off.
The angry student mob threw rocks and damaged both police and citizen vehicles and at least five were arrested. One police officer was battered and an innocent motorist was hit by a rock.

Illegals illegally voting in our elections
It's bad enough that these people are crossing our borders but voting in our elections too?
The Public Interest Legal Foundation, which has identified similar non-citizen voting problems in studies of Virginia and New Jersey, said Pennsylvania officials have admitted non-citizens have been registering and voting in the state “for decades,” according to The Washington Times.
More than 100,000 non-citizens are registered to vote in Pennsylvania alone, according to testimony submitted Monday in a lawsuit demanding the state come clean about the extent of its problems.
And guess what? They are Democrats. Surprised? I wonder how many are voting in California as that place is really screwed up.

The Madness of the Turkish leader
As we apparently have so many mad politicians in this country these days, I want to highlight the Turkish leader... they love to take advantage of their most vulnerable, not just little kids. It's no wonder that our relations with this former ally are strained. You can't deal with nut jobs.
[Washington Examiner] Recep Tayyip Erdogan's latest waltz into absurdity suggests that he might actually be mad. At a campaign event on Saturday, Erdogan welcomed a nervous six-year-old girl, Amine Tiras, onto the stage. That was fine. But then Erdogan jumped off the deep end.
He declared that "[Tiras'] Turkish flag is in her pocket. If she becomes a martyr, God willing, she will be wrapped with it." Looking directly at the girl, Erdogan remarked "She is ready for everything, aren’t you?"

Supreme Court won't hear DACA
The Daily Wire reported that today the Supreme Court announced
that it would not intervene to stay the lower court ruling temporarily
blocking the implementation of President Trump’s termination of the
Obama administration executive amnesty. Renewals of approximately
700,000 deportation waivers for illegal immigrants brought to the United
States as children would have ended on March 5.
Now, under the continued Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, those waivers will remain available. The Supreme Court did request that the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals “act expeditiously to decide this case.”
But the Supreme Court’s rejection is actually a win for the Trump administration politically, too. That’s because the Trump administration will not have to start deporting DREAMers — so no nasty headlines about Trump cruelty. [Ben Shapiro}
You mean we won't have to listen to Nancy Pelosi ranting again on these poor illegal immigrants?

Trump is no longer underwater
In spite of the Democrats trying to do everything within their power to impeach the President, Trump Hits 50%!
In the Rasmussen Poll, the only survey that polls actual voters, President Donald Trump has moved up steadily since the new year and has now reached a new plateau of 50 percent job approval with only 49 percent disapproving.Never before in his presidency has Trump cracked 50 percent, and never before, in any reputable poll, have his positive marks outweighed the negative ones.

Mexico's homicide rate 4 times that of the United States
Hey, liberal weenies, wanna’ see where gun control leads? Look at Mexico. Tight gun control, outrageously high homicide rate
Read about it... at the Powdered Wig Society.Mexico has recorded its highest homicide rate in years, with the government's interior ministry reporting there were 29,168 murders in 2017, more than in 2011 at the peak of Mexico's drug cartel-stoked violence. The U.S. is not even in the top 100 for annual homicide rates when compared to the rest of the world.
Quote of the Day - President Trump on California
California is acting more and more like its own country and it's illegal immigration stance is abhorrent to the rest of civilized America and especially to the President.
Because California has refused to cooperate with federal law enforcement since it declared itself a “sanctuary” jurisdiction, the president is considering pulling out ICE.
"You would have a crime mess like you’ve never seen in California. If we ever pulled our ICE out, and if we ever said, ‘hey, let California alone, let them figure it out for themselves,’ in two months they’d be begging for us to come back, they would be begging. And you know what, I’m thinking about doing it.”

We can always count on Pelosi to cement our belief that Democrats are a national disgrace.
“But let’s talk about where a more serious structure might be necessary, where fencing will do, or where mowing the grass so people can’t be smuggled through the grass, that’s something,” said Pelosi.
Why aren't Democrats embarrassed by her? The entire world just shakes its head every time this loon opens her mouth.

While liberal gun haters spewed their outrage at the NRA trying to take it down and ruin their organization with lies and false charges by blaming them for the Parkland shooting, it has now been revealed that there were four deputies at the school who did not enter to take out the shooter. Using the word "man" is now taboo in some circles - Insanity Abounds
Did anyone catch this segment on Tucker Carlson's show last night? Purdue university (my Dad's alma mater back when there was sanity in this country) is now banning the word "man."
Tucker had on guest Cathy Areu, Founder of Catalina magazine, who said that words such as "mailman," "policeman," "fireman" and "congressman," should be replaced with the word "person" instead. I have seen Ms. Areu on several occasions on his show and she is a hoot but for real. You sit there shaking your head in amazement.
Liberals are determined to make us general neutral and the really sad thing is, they are succeeding with their insanity in some segments of our society today such as universities and colleges where people are very impressionable...the future generation, or in liberal areas of the country. Our neighbor to the north's president, socialist leader Justin Trudeau, recently corrected a speaker and told her to use the word "humankind" instead of "mankind."

Violence begets violence in society
It is said by many that guns are not the culprits, but the people who pull the triggers are. I can see no reason for assault rifles being legal, but I believe that the bad guys, the mentally deranged, will always find a way to possess them.
There is not enough focus on the fact that this generation of children and also many adults have been so thoroughly saturated with violent images for so many years as created by Hollywood, television and the makers of videos and of what is dominating our newspapers and TV news. The media would be doing a far more noble service if they focused on education, documentaries and reality shows that are uplifting and portray good moral character and positive images.
If the children want to march on the governing powers, let them also react by rejecting these horrific influences that glorify killing and a lack of civility in human discourse. A return to those words and deeds as written in the Bible or portrayed in any peaceful religion is the only hope for mankind. We can change — it is a matter of personal choice.
Regarding the drug epidemic, personal responsibility is also sorely lacking in our society where introspection and change are replaced by a tendency to blame others.
If these latest school and highway shootings do not serve to make us a more humble and loving people, what hope is there for mankind?

Commissioner Robinson's perspective on guns
Tuesday night's city commission meeting started out with an emotional plea in Herman Robinson's invocation--
"...and I can't not bow my head for our national leaders that need to take responsibility for the arms race that our civilized country's participating in and hope that they can minimize the death and destruction to our civilized nation. Amen.
Next, Herman got political when he talked about guns under his liaison report:
Around 11 minutes and 30 seconds into the meeting he said:
"...regulate AR-15's. I would just want to maybe correspond with the Scottish Rite's people to ask their vendors to limit their gun sales to other than automatic and weapons of war. I think it's important that at this time we do not do nothing and I think that's the only few things we can do very locally to limit the weapons that are killing people."
First of all, we are being assaulted, no pun intended, with so-called ‘experts’ saying the AR-15 is an unnecessary ‘assault rifle’ and that the gun should be banned. The AR-15 is a semi-automatic rifle, not an ‘assault rifle’ and there is a difference. As long as it does not have any military features, it is legal. Automatic firearms (such as machine guns), short-barreled shotguns, and short-barreled rifles are illegal.
The Gun show at the Scottish Rite takes place every month.
Currently, the PBAC gun shows accommodate approximately 80 tables, and reflect the quality, variety, and taste of its members. This includes handguns, rifles, shotguns, flare guns, edged weapons, militaria and accessories from many countries and periods.
I contacted this group but at the time of this post, I have not heard back from them as to whether any of the vendors at the gun Show sell assault weapons or any weapon of "war." I would doubt it.

Parkland Students Tricked by Florida Democrats
The plot to make a procedural motion to bring House Bill 219
to the floor was a stunt, say Democrats behind the scenes, hatched by
Rep. Kionne McGhee, D-Miami, in cahoots with Sen. Gary Farmer,
D-Parkland.
The idea was to trick the dozens of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High
School students in the House gallery into believing only the Democrats
care about students' lives. Look at that, the arrogant Republicans won't even allow a conversation about guns.
And it worked. By the time the floor session ended, emotional students who watched were crying and the Republicans' "refusal to talk about an assault weapons ban" was crawling all over social media. Soon after, one after the other of CNN commentators were shaking their heads, playing and replaying Speaker Richard Corcoran, R-Land O'Lakes' gavel moment: "The motion is not adopted."

President Trump on Reverend Billy Graham
Donald J. Trump — President of the United States -·
Statement on the Passing of Reverend Billy Graham:
Melania and I join millions of people around the world in mourning the passing of Billy Graham. Our prayers are with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all who worked closely with Reverend Graham in his lifelong ministry.
Billy’s acceptance of Jesus Christ around his seventeenth birthday not only changed his life—it changed our country and the world. He was one of the towering figures of the last 100 years—an American hero whose life and leadership truly earned him the title “God’s Ambassador.”
Billy’s unshakeable belief in the power of God’s word to transform hearts gave hope to all who listened to his simple message: “God loves you.” He carried this message around the world through his crusades, bringing entire generations to faith in Jesus Christ.
In the wake of the September 11th attacks in 2001, America turned to Billy Graham at the National Cathedral, who told us, “God can be trusted, even when life seems at its darkest.”
Reverend Graham would be the first to say that he did not do it alone. Before her passing, his wife Ruth was by his side through it all—a true partner, a wonderful mother, and a fellow missionary soul. He also built an international team and institution that will continue to carry on Christ’s message.
Melania and I were privileged to get to know Reverend Graham and his extraordinary family over the last several years, and we are deeply grateful for their love and support.
Billy Graham was truly one of a kind. Christians and people of all faiths and backgrounds will miss him dearly. We are thinking of him today, finally at home in Heaven.

Nutty Mexican says Mexicans have the right to cross our border
A Mexican presidential candidate suggested Sunday that illegal immigration into the U.S. is a right of all Mexicans – one that must be defended by the United Nations.
Mexico contributes about $50 million a year to the United Nations. The Untied States contributes around $8 billion dollars or 22% of the entire U.N. budget. There are 193 member states in the U.N..
According to Reuters, left-wing candidate Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (he is the current frontrunner for the 2018 presidential elections ) stated that he would use the global body to “defend the rights of Mexicans” if U.S. President Donald Trump carried through with erecting a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border.

Concerned and enraged, he confirmed what Gateway Pundit previously reported: these children are being used as political tools by the far left to further anti-Conservative rhetoric and an anti-gun agenda.
The students at the forefront of this agenda were all peers of his child, they were all members of the same drama club at their high school. This fact was verified and confirmed by Buzzfeed who sent a reporter to visit the student activists at their “command center” at one of their homes. Buzzfeed reported on, but left unexplored, the fact that these students are theater-trained.

From the White House
Following last Wednesday’s horrific shooting at a Parkland, Florida, high school, President Donald J. Trump addressed the Nation and issued a Proclamation honoring the victims and their families.
On Friday, the President and First Lady visited with survivors at a Florida hospital and addressed law enforcement officers at the Broward County Sheriff’s Office to pay their respects and express their full support. The President also spoke with local officials such as Parkland Mayor Christine Hunschofsky to receive updates and thank them for their leadership.
“Our entire Nation, w/one heavy heart, continues to pray for the victims & their families in Parkland, FL,” the President tweeted Friday. “To teachers, law enforcement, first responders & medical professionals who responded so bravely in the face of danger: We THANK YOU for your courage!”
The President also spoke with Senate Majority Whip John Cornyn (R-TX) about proposed legislation to strengthen the Nation’s background-checks system for firearms. While discussions are still ongoing, Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said yesterday, President Trump is supportive of the effort.
