~ President Ronald Reagan
When speaking before the NRA convention in 1983 he said that gun control is the first step toward the total confiscation of all law-abiding citizens’ guns, and that those who want to inflict harm on others aren’t fazed by stricter gun laws—a nod to the assassination attempt in March 1981. He also believed that there was no place for assault weapons on America’s streets.
He said that AK-47's were not a sporting rifle and we did not need them to defend our home. He did not defend machine guns.
WTF are you even talking about?
