Supreme court votes 5/4 on execution drug

Justices says it's ok to use as it is not in violation of the Eighth Amendment prohibition on cruel and unusual punishment.

This time it was 5-4 with Justice Samuel Alito writing for the majority, along with John Roberts, Antonin Scalia, Anthony Kennedy and Clarence Thomas.

Through the years, I have vacillated back and forth on the death penalty. Do we have the right to take the life of a person regardless of the heinous crime he has committed. Do we as a people have the moral right to impose capital punishment and treat people as non-human? The law says that we do.

We have found out over the past few days that the Supreme Court is not always right.

Really wrong as our house reps make law and the supreme court (1/3 of the executive branch & unelected - unaccountable - can't be fired) is only to judge it - not re-write it in their own image! Make Everyone Obey ALL THE LAWS equally, SS & obamacare for starters and things will correct themselves!
