"Women seeking abortions in Florida will be required to make two visits to a clinic, with a mandatory 24-hour waiting period in between, to end a pregnancy under a bill signed into law by Rick Scott on Wednesday."
People against this bill say that it would be an unnecessary burden on women, causing stress to them and a financial hardship. What about taking a life? Is that not important? The only "stress" here is for the unborn who doesn't have a voice and the ignorance and lack of responsibility of these women.
According to the Guttmacher Institute, there were 1.21 million abortions performed in the United States in 2008, the most recent year for which data is available. This amounts to 3,322 abortions per day. The Florida law takes effect on July 1. Now the ACLU is in the act and has filed
suit as they believe that women should be able to make these decisions
for themselves. Hell, these women can't even figure out how to use a
contraceptive. See U.S. Abortion Clock
