Biden admin issues 20-year oil drilling ban near Indigenous site, ignoring pleas from Native Americans

The Navajo Nation said its members would be 'pushed into greater poverty' if the Biden admin moved forward with the action

The Biden administration is moving forward with a 20-year ban on new oil and gas leasing near an Indigenous cultural site in New Mexico despite stark opposition from Native Americans in the region.

Interior Secretary Deb Haaland finalized the action Friday which bans fossil fuel and mineral leasing within a 10-mile buffer zone around the Chaco Culture National Historical Park in northwestern New Mexico. The ban ultimately amounts to a withdrawal of approximately 336,404 acres of public lands from mineral leasing near the site some Native Americans consider sacred.

Overall, there are currently 53 Indian allotments located in the so-called 10-mile buffer zone around Chaco Canyon, generating $6.2 million per year in royalties for an estimated 5,462 allottees, according to Navajo Nation data. In addition, there are 418 unleased allotments in the zone that are associated with 16,615 allottees.

According to the Western Energy Alliance, an industry group that represents producers in the area, if the proposal is finalized and implemented, Navajo members would lose an estimated $194 million over the next 20 years.

Biden has purposely managed to make every American poorer over the last few years as he implements his Green New Deal.

A “missing” witness is now talking and has given an interview to Miranda Devine of the New York Post that is not good for Joe Biden.

We heard House Oversight Committee Chair Jim Comer (R-KY) talk about missing witnesses/whistleblowers. The missing witness is not the whistleblower who knows about the Biden bribery form, as Comer clarified. The person is safe, according to Comer.

This witness is also not one of the IRS or FBI whistleblowers. The witness who is talking is Gal Luft, a former Israeli Defense Force colonel who knows about the CEFC relationship between the Bidens and the Chinese.

A recently launched website is now providing the public with access to nearly 10,000 photos from former first son Hunter Biden’s laptop.

Garrett Ziegler, the founder of the nonprofit research group Marco Polo, said his team took months to review thousands of photos dating from 2008 to 2019 before publishing them Thursday on BidenLaptopMedia.com.

“It’s taken us a couple of months to, one, go through the photos, about 10,000 of them, and redact the genitalia on the photos,” Ziegler told Fox News Digital.

In an interview with Fox News Digital, Ziegler emphasized the importance of truth and transparency when discussing the Biden family.

Yesterday, the Senate ended the threat of a U.S. default on its financial obligations by passing the Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2023. The measure now moves to the desk of President Joe Biden, whose signature will lay the matter to rest for at least the next 19 months. [Epoch Times]

The bill passed in a bipartisan vote of 63 to 36 that resulted from a compromise forged by President Joe Biden and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) to suspend the debt limit through Jan. 1, 2025.

What prompted this quick vote by the Senate?

There was a provision in the bill that included a provision to cut defense spending automatically if a federal budget is not passed on time. That would be totally unacceptable to any rational elected official when the world is in turmoil with frequent threats of nuclear war.

It also increases 3.3% next year.

The FBI has still failed to hand over the document to the Oversight Committee, prompting further threats of contempt of Congress charges

FBI Director Christopher Wray has confirmed the existence of a document alleging that President Joe Biden engaged in a criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national according to Republicans on the House Oversight and Accountability Committee.

In a Twitter post, the panel announced that Wray had told them the document was real and offered to let them review it, but has failed to produce the document for the Oversight Committee as a whole.

“If the FBI fails to hand over the FD-1023 form as required by the subpoena, [Comer] will begin contempt of Congress proceedings.”

It's really a shame that our intel agencies have been compromised.

Two elderly pro-life activists were shockingly attacked outside a Baltimore, Maryland, Planned Parenthood clinic last week. John Roswell informed Lifesite News in an email that 80-year-old Dick Schafer and 73-year-old Mark Crosby were severely injured.

Schafer was able to make a recovery at home, while Crosby is currently being treated in the University of Maryland’s shock trauma facility for a large hematoma, hyphemia, head and neck pain, and a broken bone in his upper right cheek. Additionally, Crosby’s right eye was swollen shut from the blood dripping from his eye socket, forehead, and nose.

You really have to wonder why anyone would be that vicious to attack anyone, much less the elderly, for their peaceful protest of supporting life. These people find no problem in killing babies up to the time of birth and beyond...they are killers so I would suppose it not unreasonable to assume they would attack two senior citizens nearly killing one of them.

Perps arrested in beatdown of four Marines

9 Teens Arrested in Brutal Beating of 3 Marines

Nine teenagers were arrested Tuesday in connection with the brutal on-camera beatdown of three Marines on a California beach over the weekend, authorities said.

Four males and one female were charged with assault with a deadly weapon and were admitted to the juvenile hall, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department announced.

Another four minors were reportedly charged with misdemeanor assault and battery, according to CBS News.
