Understanding today's Democratic Party

"If you want to understand today’s Democratic Party, a word search of a Democratic debate in 2015 provides a pretty clear picture.

Here is how many times keywords were spoken:

    Wall Street: 23
    Tax: 20
    Inequality: 9
    Wealthy: 7

Now, compare the number of times other national concerns were mentioned:

    ISIS: 4
    Terror/ists/ism: 2
    Defense: 2
    Military (excluding Jim Webb): 1
    Freedom: 1
    Debt (national): 0
    Liberty: 0
    Strength: 0
    Armed forces: 0
    Islamist/Islamic: 0"

Read about Hillary and the rigged election

Quote of the day - Donna Brazile

"If the fight had been fair, one campaign would not have control of the party before the voters had decided which one they wanted to lead. This was not a criminal act, but as I saw it, it compromised the party's integrity."

~ Donna Brazile

On Crooked Hillary's secret take-over of the DNC and pushing Bernie Sanders to the curb. Bernie knew what she did and endorsed her anyway. No sympathy for Bernie.

“Allah is the greatest”

I don't know why liberals and some of the left-wing (fake) media continue to do this--

Even before the eight victims of Tuesday's truck-terror attack were buried, CNN and the New York Times were falling all over themselves to deflect the Muslim killer's cry of Allahu akbar.

You would have thought it was no more significant or meaningful than saying gesundheit!

Here's what it really means, why it matters and why the opinion makers in the media are trying so hard to keep it all a secret--

Details from President Trump's Tax Reform Plan

The Heritage Foundation sent the following:

Here’s how the bill stacks up to those principles:
  • Lowering and Simplifying the Individual Tax Rates: The GOP proposal provides long overdue relief to millions of Americans by simplifying and lowering the individual tax rates to 12 percent, 25 percent, 35 percent and 39.6 percent. For married couples, the 25 percent rate starts at $90,000, the 35 percent rate starts at $260,000 and the top rate starts at $1 million. The bill will also double the standard deduction to $12,000 for individuals and $24,000 for families. Lowering the Corporate Tax Rate: This bill will immediately lower the corporate rate to 20 percent -- the rate demanded by conservatives for months -- making American businesses more competitive with the rest of the world and providing hard working Americans with a much needed raise. Rates for small business pass throughs were also reduced by 15 percentage points, down to 25 percent.
  • Tax Free Entrepreneurship (Full Expensing): The GOP proposal includes full expensing for some investments that phases out after 5 years. This is a necessary boost to investment in the short-term, though improvements could be made as the process advances.
  • Establishing a Territorial Tax System: This bill attempts to eliminate the double taxation that defines our current worldwide tax system, though there are some provisions that could undermine the full value of that reform. Stay tuned for a more in-depth analysis.
  • Ending Cronyism in the Tax Code: Conservatives have also been fighting back against big-government special interest groups. The plan eliminates many special interest provisions including the State and Local Tax Deduction (SALT), though it allows a write off for property taxes. If not for conservative pushback, the swamp creatures would have been far more successful in defending the broken, corrupt status quo.
Here are some other things included in the bill you should know:

• Repeals the Alternative Minimum Tax
• Child tax credit goes to $1600 from $1000 plus additional $300 credit for parents and non-child dependents.
• State and local deduction converted to property tax deduction with $10K cap
• 401k’s are untouched • The Death Tax exemption will be doubled and eventually phased out after five years.
• Preserves the home mortgage interest deduction for current mortgages and limits the deduction to $500,000 for new mortgages. • Preserves the Charitable Tax Deduction.

At first glance, the preliminary text released today has the potential to unleash economic growth, create American jobs, increase wages for American workers, allow families to keep more of their hard-earned money, and make U.S. businesses competitive across the globe.

According to documents released by Republicans on the House Ways and Means Committee, a typical middle-income family of four, earning $59K (median household income), will receive a $1,182 tax cut under this bill.

California opposed to 2nd Amendment Rights - Judge sets them straight

“A federal judge granted a preliminary injunction Thursday preventing California from enforcing its gun magazine confiscation law.

U.S. District Judge Roger T. Benitez said that the law, which prohibits the possession of a magazine with a capacity exceeding 10 rounds of ammunition, likely violates the Second Amendment rights of the plaintiffs in the suit. As a result, he ordered the state to immediately cease enforcing the law, pending further legal developments." [New Up Today]

Read SB 1446 Existing law prohibits the sale, gift, and loan of a large-capacity magazine. A violation of this prohibition is punishable as a misdemeanor with specified penalties or as a felony.

The Communist - Bernie

When even the most extreme liberal wackjob is coming out against the Democratic agenda, you know your party is finished.

Even an insane, Stalin-worshipping career politician is beginning to see the obvious distraction this phony investigation has become … his fellow moderate Democrats maybe ought to listen to him...“Americans are not staying up every day worrying about Russia’s interference in our election,” said Sanders, issuing his laundry list of things he demands should be provided by the government for free – college, healthcare, universal income, food … basically everything. And, true to his insanity, he took the opportunity to rave yet again against the supremely evil One Percent.” [TeaParty.org]

Carolyn Deli of Tropical Ridge NA says,
Tonight (Wednesday Nov 1st) P&Z will be deciding if Banyan Court Developers will be allowed to build an 85, low income, unit on N. A street between 3rd and 4th Ave North.

Highland Elementary School is already over capacity. Add to that all the High School and Middle School students that travel along N. A to school, that dense of a development spells disaster.

We need people at the meeting to let these developers know what a mistake they are making. The meeting is at Lake Worth City Hall at 6:00pm. Hope you can attend.

California to be 3 states? - It might be on their ballot

Did you hear about that widely derided plan to break California up into six states that died before making it to the ballot for the 2016 state elections? It’s been reincarnated – by the same billionaire who flouted the original plan – but this time, instead of six states, the proposal is to split the Golden State into three: Northern California, Southern California and a new California. [Western Journalism]

The proposal requires 365,880 valid signatures to be placed onto the Nov. 2018 ballot. Supporters have 180 days to circulate petitions and the signatures will have to be submitted to elections officials by not later than April 23, 2018. [KNTV]  This is wild when you think about it. California has 39.5 million people.

Personally, I would like them to become their own country. We don't need any more liberal congressmen or senators from the leftist State of California.

Another Democrat bites the dust

Well, first Jeff, now Daisy Baez--

Florida Democratic legislators have lost another member to scandal -- on Wednesday, state Rep. Daisy Baez is expected to resign after months of controversy for living outside her district.

Politico Florida wrote Tuesday Baez is rumored to be resigning and pleading guilty to criminal charges of perjury for lying under oath about where she actually lived.

I think our commissioners in Lake Worth also should take an oath that they live in this city and the District they represent. When they file, the city clerk's office takes their word for it.  We have learned that you can't trust politicians.
