Quote of the Day - Geraldo Rivera

"When I see Donald Trump, I think he wakes up every day knowing that 20 of the best investigative reporters in the country working for The Washington Post are assigned to find dirt on him. Every day the best investigative reporters at The New York Times are assigned to find dirt on Donald Trump. He wakes up to that every day. We talk in general terms about the mainstream media and bias but (until now) I have never in my half century of doing this seen actual proof."

~ Geraldo Rivera

Rivera is a Republican but you would never know it as he is liberal on social issues. I thought he was a Democrat until I researched his background.

Read Nancy Smith's article at Sunshine State News that explains it all so well. Voters in this country want "fairness" and truth from the news media. We didn't get that. Trump didn't get it from them. We want fairness and honesty from politicians, first and foremost. Clinton lied over and over again and those lies were barely reported by the media. And in turn, even if some did not fully understand Clinton's and Trump's important policies and implications of them, we voted for change across the board. We voted for the person we felt we could trust.
