It's a "digital Darwin" world and we're all competing for money and customers. Today, the "fittest" small businesses are those that adapt to the new environment, meaning the worldwide web. We'll show you how to market your business through branding, search and social media.

Our expert in branding, publicity and online reputation management will show you how to promote yourself as broadly as possible--for as cheaply as possible. No pictures of cute puppies or adorable kittens allowed. Just pragmatic business advice.

Better yet, we won't use boring black-and-white PowerPoint slides. We'll provide fun, interactive quizzes and colorful visuals. And by popular demand, we'll do on-the-spot troubleshooting or participants' websites, Facebook pages, LinkedIn profiles, etc.

Attend Sharon Geltner's class tomorrow beginning at 3pm. She is an award winning online media publicist, and Business Analyst for the Small Business Development Center at Palm Beach State College is the instructor. She has spoken on social media at the international conventions of IT-Expo (Business video section) and the Public Relations Society of America. Her national journalism appreciation campaign, "Net Needs News Day," has been honored by several trade associations. Her video, "The Fat Lady Has Not Sung: Why the Internet Needs the News," was favored by the Society of Professional Journalists. She serves on the board of the South Florida Interactive Marketing Association and is the first digital author to speak before Palm Beach County Library patrons.

What, no happy finger seminars? I thought Commissioner Mulvehill was the marketing expert. Why isn't she teaching the seminar?
