Sen. Mitt Romney Ignored House Investigations into Hunter Biden, Now We Know Why
Sen. Mitt Romney has recently been making headlines for his actions that conflict with his Republican colleagues
In an interview with The Bulwark, Romney was vocal in condemning the House’s decision to launch investigations into Hunter Biden, claiming it to be a waste of time and resources. This makes his statement hypocritical, considering that one of Romney’s top advisors, Joseph Cofer Black, joined the board of Burisma in February 2017, the same board as Hunter. Moreover, despite this criticism of investigations into Hunter Biden, Romney voted in favor of the bill creating the January 6 Committee tasked with investigating the incident that happened at the Capitol. It’s clear that he only supports investigations if they don’t involve people who are connected to him or his own allies.
Sen. Romney is out-of-touch with what most Republican voters are looking for right now and should no longer be taken seriously within the GOP circles.
