Meeting tonight on Casino Leaks
As everyone knows, we have had design problems with our Lake Worth Casino. It's uncertain whether it was the architect's fault or the contractor's fault but what we do know is we have leaks and a few other problems with our $6 million building that have yet to be resolved.
Tonight there will be a workshop at the Lake Worth Casino at 6pm where the City’s experts, Will Smith (doors) and June Willcott (engineering), have reviewed the design and installation and have shared their comments and concerns with REG and Morganti.
This discussion is REG’s (architects) and Morganti’s (contractors) opportunity to provide the City with their proposed fixes for the issues.

Missed you there tonight.
Has anyone thought to have an attorney review this. The Lucerne, as you know, was poorly constructed, and the building and some residents suffered because of it. At any rate, The Lucerne won the case, and over the last year, thanks to their excellent attorney, it was practically rebuilt. Anyone riding up and down Lake or Lucerne could see how extensive the rehabilitation process was. Who would know this better than Greg?
They are very close to a law suit. As I was not there last night, I don't know what transpired. Hopefully the architect and contractor are on track to fix it.
