Politics is alive and well in this city. It never dies. Back when Retha Lowe REALLY did do something egregious and who filed false reports for preventing the public from finding out the actual source of her contributions, her actions were willful. She was found guilty and fined accordingly. She was given about 100 words placed on page 4 or something in the LW Herald.
Katie, on the other hand, was given all the paperwork from the SOE, it was turned in and accepted by them. She was not given a Registered agent form and knew nothing about it. Instead of going back and forth it was easier to pay the $100. On top of that, the SOE's office was out of manuals when she formed her PAC.
Katie got a half page story in the Herald with a headline that was two lines across the page saying that there were violationS (there was only one) and he made a story out of nothing but a complaint by Peggy Fisher that amounted to no big deal.
Old news but really no news but just another excuse to bring someone down. The Sport.
Thanks for setting the record straight ,Lynn. The gossip monger that calls himself an "editor" didn't even bother to pick up a phone and interview me . Front page story , but no comment needed from ME, the subject of the story! The Half-Baked Herald . What a waste of paper. Katie Mcgiveron
