Ohio's U.S. Senate candidates, Democratic Rep. Tim Ryan and Republican candidate J.D. Vance, faced off during their first debate of the general election held earlier this week.

When asked about their views on abortion, Vance, who is fundamentally pro-life, said he would support "some minimum national standard" to limit elective mid- to late-term abortions.
