Winner: 5 Tony Awards...Best Musical--
Wikipedia: Fun Home is a musical theatre adaptation of Alison Bechdel's 2006 graphic memoir of the same name, with music by Jeanine Tesori, and book and lyrics by Lisa Kron. The story concerns Bechdel's discovery of her own sexuality, her relationship with her closeted gay father, and her attempts to unlock the mysteries surrounding his life. It is the first Broadway musical with a lesbian protagonist.
Play was 90 minutes long, no intermission. This was the most bizarre play I have ever seen...cast was great...play not so hot.

When was the last time you walked over by the Lake Wirth Playhouse? Walk by it almost daily and I have to say its a mess, cigarette butts, chewing gum stuck to the tiles, the grout is filthy as are the tiles, random wads of paper thrown about, construction cone left out with the junky valet booth, windows always smudged, it’s a shame and you wonder why we deal with neighborhoods that are uncared for well there you go! Who’s responsibility is the upkeep and maintenance? The bars/restaurants power wash and sweep the corners on K street and Lake ave. Shame.
