Russian State Energy Company Taunts Europe for Impending Winter Gas Shortages
Russia’s state energy company Gazprom released a video on Monday titled “And Winter Will Be Big.” The short presentation shows European cities freezing over, with occasional cuts to useless windmills and solar panels, while a mournful song plays in the background.Fans of the Russian government left YouTube comments praising the video as a masterful act of trolling. Gazprom shut down the flow of gas into Germany through its Nord Stream 1 pipeline last week, leaving the Europeans in a state of mounting panic as frigid winter temperatures approach. Gazprom’s taunting video was essentially a funeral dirge in advance.

It's unfortunate that Angela Merkel is no longer Chancellor of Germany. She, like Trump, knew how to talk with Putin. Putin speaks fluent German, and they respected each other. Who is there now, that even commands respect?
I think she would have handled things differently.
Trump told Angela Merkel not to trust Russia or deal with them for their power source ...she didn't listen.
When it came to Russia, Trump spoke out of both sides of his mouth. He wouldn't know how to advise Angela Merkel. She was a stateswoman. She knew Putin well. Why would she listen to Trump?
As I said, and I repeat: Angela Merkel would have known how to handle this situation.
@12:26...LOL.
As I said, President Trump gave her advice. She did not take it. Now Germany is in a precarious situation.
You are so quick to condemn Trump. You say Trump spoke on both side of his mouth. Let's see some examples. He knew exactly what Putin was about. Trump said he would trust Russia over "sleezebags" and "lowlifes" in the U.S. intelligence community. He got that one right.
Trump's approach was what's good for America, AMERICA FIRST, not on what will appease the Russians. “You get more bees with honey.” Work with your "enemies."
