Chicago Democrat Mayor Lori Lightfoot proudly and publicly welcomed illegal immigrants to her sanctuary city with a warm embrace, and then quickly gave them the cold shoulder and deported them to another town.

Chicago, after all, is a sanctuary city thanks to Lightfoot’s embrace of illegal immigration, but apparently only when it doesn’t impact her own backyard.

“The Left has painted any governor or mayor who doesn’t welcome illegal immigrants as ‘racist,'” noted Headline Health. “Now one of the Left’s own icons who checks every box — female, lesbian, black, woke — has been caught busing illegal aliens out of her jurisdiction.”
