Man Who Took Pickax to Trump’s Star Now Facing Years in Prison
According to Heavy.com, that man has been identified as Austin Clay, a 24-year-old California native. Though he faces up to three years behind bars on a charge of felony vandalism, he has no regrets over what he did, and even seemed proud of the support he has received from several Trump-hating liberal celebrities.Hopefully this moronically destructive anti-Trumper gets held fully accountable for his stupidity and vandalism. He also has to pay $3,000 to the chamber of commerce to replace the star.

FBI Kept Using False Evidence to Spy on Trump After 2016 Election
“I think what’s noteworthy to come out of this — that you need to be aware of — is that Comey knew in December that the dossier was not verifiable and yet used it as if it was real evidence to maintain, not once, but multiple times, the eavesdropping or spying on the president.”~ Rep. Andrew Gillum
Mayor Andrew Gillum, Florida's first African American nominee for governor, says that his opponent Ron DeSantis' "monkey this up" comment was used as a way to "incite" his base. Such bull. And it's also shocking that Terrie Rizzo, Chair of the Florida Democratic Party is drinking that Koolaid lie too. I always thought she was smarter than that.
Andrew Gillum is playing the "race card" to attack his opponent, Ron DeSantis, to try and win on his socialistic agenda and to use/attract minorities to his side by a vicious, untrue statement.
And even more serious is what's going on in Tallahassee, the city that he has led since 2014. He was first elected to office there in 2003 when he was 23. and through all these years, he has met the movers and shakers along the way. City Hall and Gillum have been under an ongoing FBI public corruption investigation, something he wants to trivialize as "someone else's fault." The buck stops with him. He is the mayor.
We don't want him "monkeying around" with the State of Florida that has achieved great things under Governor Rick Scott. Florida's economy, like that of the nation, rebounded during Scott's time in office and is strong. It hit a $1 trillion GDP this year and as a country, it would rank 17th in the world.
Higher taxes, free stuff and Saul Alinsky's principles to discredit, distort and destroy anyone or anything that does not embrace socialistic philosophies, won't work with Floridians.

I voted this morning!
I was the eighth person to vote this morning at Lakeside United Methodist Church. Inside, there were eight voting booths.
As far back as I can remember, this has been a Democratic stronghold. In the fifties, you had to register as Democrat just to vote in a primary. No Republicans ran back in those days. When I started to vote, it was the same way in the sixties and even into the seventies. Now we have great Republicans running for office. Bill Nelson will have an awakening tonight when his Republican opponent is decided.

Studio 205 in Lake Worth to move

Dev-Land appealed to the City of Lake Worth
Last night, both Deveaux brothers upset with the scores, spoke in front of the commission regarding their recent evaluation/rating derived from their submitted RFP for emergency debris removal (hurricanes).
Saying that their resume might not be as glamorous as others, they said that they performed well for the city in years past and that hurricanes don't hit us every year. Their company has a proven record. Carl indicated that some of those doing the evaluations were not even around back in those days and don't understand the work that they performed.
Carl Deveaux then referred to a letter from the Director of Public Works back in 2006 when their company cleared all the hurricane debris from the various hurricanes that affected Lake Worth such as Frances and Jeanne. Another contractor who does work for them implied that the City was blackballing Dev-Land.
Ed Deveaux spoke and told the commission that their company is Certified by FEMA AND HUD.
They lost their appeal on a 5/0 vote mainly due to the price for services but their overall ranking was 12 out of 13 overall.

Lake Worth votes on banning more Medical Marijuana Dispensaries
On a First Reading and a 4/1 vote with Commissioner Omari Hardy dissenting, future medical marijuana dispensaries are banned--one more reading to go on September 13 to ban additional dispensaries forever.
Hardy wanted the option to have medical marijuana dispensaries west of I-95. Why this would be advantageous to medical marijuana users when they can travel just a short distance to one of the two dispensaries in operation and the simple fact that these dispensaries deliver, was not a compelling argument to allow more to operate within our city.
As we have a population of 36,836, according to the chart below, we have more dispensaries than we need. As Scott Maxwell said, "the number of people needing medical marijuana is finite...we don't need a gross of dispensaries in our city. No one will be denied access," he said.

More Medical Marijuana facilities in Lake Worth?
TITLE:
Ordinance No. 2018-12 - First Reading - banning Medical Marijuana Treatment Center Dispensing Facilities within the City of Lake Worth and and setting the second reading and public hearing for September 13, 2018

Ordinance No. 2018-12 - First Reading - banning Medical Marijuana Treatment Center Dispensing Facilities within the City of Lake Worth and and setting the second reading and public hearing for September 13, 2018
SUMMARY:
First reading of an ordinance to ban Medical Marijuana Treatment Center Dispensing Facilities within the City of Lake Worth and setting the second reading and public hearing for September 13, 2018.
We already have two facilities in Lake Worth. Two is more than enough.
However, and I had to read this several times thinking I had made a big mistake,
- the City’s Planning & Zoning Board (PZB) recommended to the City Commission that the ordinance be denied in a 5-2 vote.
- The City’s Historic Resources Preservation Board (HRPB) recommended to the City Commission that the amendment be denied in a 4-0 vote.
The Neighbor from Hell - Pure Trash
No matter where you might live in Lake Worth, there are always people who have no respect for their neighbors or themselves. They care about nothing or anyone. You know the type...pure trash. We have one such neighbor here. He is moving today and we are all rejoicing.
Yesterday, this man who has lived in our community for six years, had his son and some friend move his furniture from his 2nd floor apartment onto trucks. When it started, we just all assumed his furniture was being moved to his new residence. No such luck. He was very much aware of the rules and was told about them.
You see, he is closing on his unit today and needed it empty. His son and companion then proceeded to drive around the building and empty the furniture into dumpsters. They made several hauls even though they were told that what they were doing was not allowed. They didn't give a damn. We were just pesky irritants to him.
When I talked to the son of the owner who was doing the dumping, he proceeded to get arrogant. I have subsequently learned that he was just hired at the Boynton Beach Police Department as a policeman. This has not been verified but a Board Director in that building says that is a fact.
All of us who were out there watching his illegal dumping received smart aleck remarks from him. At several points he even waved to us from a distance, his way of saying "screw you, this community and your rules." Of course, the rules are the City of Lake Worth's.
We called PBSO and after an hour or so an officer showed up. He said he couldn't do anything because it was private property. However, the trash bins belong to the city. So I don't understand why he just couldn't be bothered to write a report. I guess we don't pay these people enough.
I called my absolute favorite city employee, our director of Public Works, Jamie Brown, during this and he said that he would take care of it. He did just that at 7am this morning.
The City Utility Department was called and the reprobate will be paying for his illegal dumping.
