Alcee Hastings has been in Congress way too long. Only in America can a jokester get re-elected over and over again. The month before the 2016 election, he told a group of Broward Democrats that the Republican nominee was "sentient pile of excrement." Time for term limits but these fools keep re-electing him..

As a JUDGE in 1981 he was accused of bribery and eventually impeached by the House for bribery and perjury by a vote of 413–3. He was then convicted in 1989 by the Senate, the sixth federal judge in the history of the United States to be removed.  Back then, he was using the race card as an excuse. In 1992 he finally made his comeback and was elected to Congress.
