There isn't much on this agenda tonight...it should go lickity split so that the incumbents can get on to bigger and greater things.
The City of Lake Worth has been trying over the past several years to work something out with those involved in the construction of our casino building. We will, once again, have the opportunity to listen to Scott Maxwell's ranting on how he, when the upgrade of our casino was only a dream, said that the Circle of Light was all bull, that our beach plan would fail, etc, etc, etc. On tonight's agenda, is the city's recommendation to file a lawsuit.
Some of the problems the city cites:
- Water intrusion through the windows and operable doors along the east elevation;
- Failure of the second floor deck to drain;
- Water intrusion behind the stucco on the elevations of the building;
- Improper drainage design or construction which allows water to cascade off of the roof causing hazardous conditions on the paver deck below or mold growth on canopies;
- Rusting on arch supports
- Premature degradation of external surfaces
Lake Worth is renewing the contract for Peter Robinson of Mildly Delirious Design, Inc. for the Farmer's Market at Old Bridge Park. They get to keep it neat, have insurance and pay us $500 a month while we get the expense of collecting the garbage and giving them free utilities. Such a great deal. It's no wonder the name of his corporation has the word "delirious" in it. I would be too as the city has called this a "signature event."

It's taken the three fat basretards FOUR years to FINALLY do something????Jesus! These people are totally incompetant !!!!
I thought the reason for the "circle of light" was to preserve the casino structure, keep John Gs ect? The whole thing was demolished wasn't it, is there a corner stone or a plaque showing something was saved?
Yeah, we were very lucky "saving" the casino and having it be renovated in the exact same spot as before.
It had nothing to do with John G's but the city really treated them like crap as they did other long-time tenants.
