Letter to Lois Frankel

Representative Lois Frankel
U.S. House of Representatives
1037 Longworth House Office Building
Washington, FL 20515

Dear Representative Frankel,

I encourage you to listen to FBI Director James Comey's statements on the inability of the government to guarantee that prospective refugees are not terrorists or terrorist sympathizers. The current refugee resettlement program threatens our country and needs to be reviewed. I hope you will work to make this happen and will work to redirect refugee funding to the UN so refugees can be housed closer to their homes.

The United Nations recommends that refugees be relocated close to their home country so that they can easily return home when the conflict is over. Relocating refugees thousands of miles is fraught with risks and is prohibitively expensive when you consider that for the cost of relocating one refugee to the U.S., the government can pay for 12 to be housed close to their home country.

On top of this, our government cannot ensure that refugees are not terrorists or terrorist sympathizers. At least one of the Paris attackers came to Europe as a refugee and there is a real danger that the same could happen here. FBI Director Comey has admitted that the U.S. doesn't have access to the databases required to thoroughly vet refugees.

Please do all you can to stop the refugee resettlement program and redirect the money to organizations that help refugees close to their home country.

Looking forward to your support,

Lynn Anderson

P.S. For heaven sakes, STOP allowing this government to be "politically correct" or just plain ignorant. Protect our country NOW.
