COSTA MESA – With just over a week until Christmas, South Coast Plaza officials are scrambling to find a new Christmas tree after their 96-foot, $120,000 evergreen burned to a cinder early Monday morning. In only five minutes, the tallest Christmas tree in Orange County and one of the largest in the nation was engulfed in a powerful blaze. But fire investigators still don’t know how it started.

Fire investigators don't know how it started?  Lightning?  An anti-Christian terrorist? This is the way of the world now...not too nice and certainly not safe.

Your pals are vandalizing mosques and dropping off hate notes to Jews in Broward County and you're concentrating on a Christmas tree that burnt up in California.

LOL.

Not only is it a Christmas tree, but it sure looks like arson. If so, this is a crime. I can see it now, one of you PC people who are anti everything other than your own kooky agenda burning down the tree in the Cultural Plaza. You would probably applaud, anony at 8am and put up a atheist gay rights festive pole.

I don't think Lynn sits around worrying about trees but I do know she cares about the environment and cares a lot about crime, the same as i do. To bring something to our attention that is so atrocious and reprehensible is appreciated by the majority. First poster, you are an exception to common decency and everything that is wrong in this country. Something like this makes people angry and I hope it's picked up and goes viral.
