Scott Maxwell goes Politicking

Comment Up

Sorry I missed you vice mayor when you came politicking for the general obligation bond at my building. You should have knocked on my door and spent some time talking with me but it seems elected officials only want to talk to some people 1) at election time  2) and only on issues they advocate. They don't want to hear what you have to say. You can chalk up the exercise to just that--exercise.

If looks could kill you mean. Exercise is a good thing but wasting one's time convincing the voters to tax themselves is not so good.

Love how he disrespected the Mayor (& Meeting Rules) by leaving the dais before the meeting was over! She handled it pretty well and even called him 'Scotty'.

I wouldn't worry to much about Scot Maxwell and what he thinks, we need to put all our faith and trust in God alone, never putting people in government like Maxwell on a pedestal. These guys will always disappoint the people. Scott and all of them really cannot be trusted. They have not even been able to do something simple like paving a few sidewalks so people do not have to walk in the road in our downtown. They cannot be trusted. Trust in God and seek the truth, it is not in people like Maxwell.

Who cares about Maxwell. But are you serious? Put our faith in God? Great strategy. You stick with that. The rest of us will stick with what we can control and work with. Didn't some people go to jail not that long ago for letting their kids die bc they said that their faith in God would heal them. How did that turn out again? You follow your strategy and I'll follow mine which is hard work and good decision making. You keep looking up to the sky hoping for the best.

There are sickos no matter what but is it necessary to ridicule someone because of his faith in God. REALLY?
