Thank GOD! It was insulting that an unqualified public works guy like Kroll even made it into the top five. That alone shows how dishonest the new Commission majority is.Lake Worth is falling apart while Maxwell,Triolo, and Amoroso play political favorites and games.

For once the city has been saved. Kroll would have been worse than Boyer. No experience in estimating jobs. No experience as a city manager. No skill in even filling in a pot hole. No transparency.

Kroll lied.

How does CONSIDERING hiring a former, known employee show how dishonest the new commission majority is?
What was the past commission and Stanton doing while the city was falling apart? Or did the city only start falling apart in November?
Please answer these easy questions. Just be glad Mulvehill and Mcoy are in the minority now.

Anon 8:57, come on, you know what is all about. This camp does not like the current commission make up and would like to return to the "boot" style of management offered by Dictator Stanton. My real beef is with Mulvehill and McVoy, they don't seem to be able to get over that we need their help in moving forward. They will try to derail the train every chance they get. It does not matter to them, only their personal agendas. A real shame in a city that offers so much potential.

Joe was a very good Pubic Works leader in a very divided city who got caught in the Us & Them bus saw. It's our loss that he bowed out of the CM selection. Don't keep kicking him now that he is stepping out of the picture.

Okay,I concede. Considering hiring a public works guy with ABSOLUTELLY NO EXPERIENCE as a city manager for the position of city manager was not a political game.Letting this guy make it into the top five over 65 candidates WITH YEARS of experience as a city manager was not crony favoritism. It was just STUPID.Sorry Pam,Andy ,and Scott. You were NOT playing politics as usual. You were just being STUPID. My Bad.

You are being fooled anony at 8:57 and 9:47. You have it azz backwards. Typical in LW.

Why not get to the reason WHY he is stepping out of the picture. That would be revealing and you might just change your political mind anonymous as you don't seem to want to believe what the people have been trying to tell you about Kroll.

ok I'll play your uninformed rumor fuled game. Why did Kroll withdraw his name?
Why do you guys keep ignoring the fact that Stanton had 30 years of experience but was a train wreck? You must be conceding that you are willing to hire yet another tired retread that's been fired for various reasons. That's a SMART decision? You're right that is your bad.

Sorry to have to disagree with you but the only people who have been dysfunctional here are the commissioners who gave Kroll a vote. Go ahead, Scott. Ask the HR Director for an opinion here.

I don't know if Kroll was qualified or not. My opinion is that we should be looking for someone OUTSIDE this governmental City Manager closed club. Maybe look for someone who worked in the private sector and was successful there. Managing people, large budgets and most of all, an Electric Utility.

I do know that Kroll walked a tight line making decisions when needed that I think were good ones and balanced keeping a very unstable CM looking like she was stable. He probably took the hit for her many times.

He was liked by the residents and respected by the staff. So I guess we don't want anything to do with someone like that.

I wish him well.

We need someone who knows what in heck he's doing with city manager experience. If he turns out to be a "nice guy" then that will be a plus. The qualifications have been set by this commission and they need to remember them. We don't need someone to learn on the job

How can yOu call the CM unstable? Are you A DOCTOR/

What happened to all you slimy Kroll supporters, Pam, Scott and Andy. Silent now?
