Anhinga on Lake Osborne
Prior to taking the moon shot last night, I was down at the lake and spotted this Anhinga ruffling his feathers to get them dry. There are more than two living creatures on Lake Osborne who ruffle feathers from time to time.
The Anhinga is known as the Water-Turkey for its swimming habits and broad tail, and also as the Snake-Bird for its habit of swimming with just its long head and neck sticking out of the water. It is a fabulous looking bird.

Another perfect picture - even the wings in motion are sharp! Great!
