Knowing the bullies they are probably rejoicing about that too.

Ed is a real good one and a very bad loss. That is a shame. The combined years of governmental experience between Susan and Ed is probably around 60 years.

We were so very close....

Close to what? When the discussions were going on about the fire assessment his input was, what's the big deal it's only $60.

Whose input? Ed's or Scott's? Maxwell didn't think it was any big deal at first either.

Who are they after next? Mattingly & her Conservation Fund or Carr because of all the bad numbers?

They don't know who to go after next. They will wait for one of the rat pack to tell them who to target next. Penquins.

Possibly, and from where I am observing, the potential recovery steps for Lake Worth will not be born from an acute business or street intelligence. The levels of the governmental financial problems in Lake Worth do not appear to be static or weak, but compounding and interconnected in invisible treks. Going forward, in the next two years, let us support and hope that the person(s) in control know what the checkmate moves are. If you can't see them, it does not mean that they are non-existent.

An interesting and potentially viable resource book, written by John P. Avlon; "Independent Nation", may be worth the investment of time and money. It isn't easy reading, but now a days, what is?

Once again the facts got in the way of the story. Mr. Fry had been looking for another position for some time. He is going to the City of Port St. Lucie in a position of Assistant Finance Director to be groomed for when the Finance Director retires next year. He is staying on until 1/15/12 so that is one month's notice. By the way Mr. Fry worked for Port St. Lucie before as City Clerk. Has anyone on this blog asked Mr. Fry if he would have taken this new position if Stanton was still CM in Lake Worth? If not, this is just another story bent to suit one perspective.

Thanks for the info, Sam.

Mr. Fry is going back to Pt. St. Lucie where he lives. Makes sense to have a job where you live. He will get home at decent hours and the expense of travel will be eliminated. As far as asking Mr. Fry the whys of it all, that would be totally inappropriate for this blog to do so. Did you ask him?

Sam, I do not doubt your information. From a larger perspective, and I think it would be helpful information, please find out how many hours per average week he worked, excluding travel time. Also, find out when he was last complimented, by anybody, for his work product or his work effort. To simply answer "he was well paid" is empty.

Finally, who now could ask Mr. Fry to consider changing his mind or even ask that question of him: is there anything the City could do to have you reconsider your decision? You have been valuable to the City, and we need you.

Sam, thank you for your help.
