Lake Worth Art, Window Contest and Tree Lighting

Comment Up

I spotted this in Andy's store this morning. Trust me when I say this photo does NOT do it justice. It is one of those "shiny things" that Commissioner Maxwell would approve--Mary Lindsey too--a palm tree magnet, approximately 5 inches tall, by an artist who now lives in Lake Worth after having a gallery for years in Cocoanut Grove, AnnaMaria Windisch-Hunt.

The downtown shops have decorated their windows for Christmas and all are looking forward to the window decorating contest beginning at 5pm this Saturday by Mayor Pam Triolo as Judge. Following that is the tree lighting from 6 to 10pm at the Cultural Plaza.

Get ready for Santa everyone at the December 10th holiday parade at 6pm.

I love Andy and his store, he has the best stuff and sells the best gifts, books, and other novelties. We are blessed to have his store and creativity here, and now he is our commissioner, a commissioner who listens and cares and who wants a nice balance of growth and small town charm for all of us. He and his store are the best! God bless you Andy---to much such success always!
