Judge dismisses case against Trump in Fulton County

Judge Dismisses 2020 Election Interference Charges Against Trump After Prosecutor Declares Case Unwinnable

For years, Democrats wielded the legal system like a cudgel against Donald Trump, turning courtrooms into political theaters and prosecutors into partisan warriors.

The Georgia election case—complete with that now-iconic mugshot—was supposed to be their crown jewel, the case that would finally bring down the man they couldn’t beat at the ballot box.

The Prosecutor, who took over from Fani, said it was “illogical and unduly burdensome” to proceed, acknowledging what we’ve been saying all along: this was never about justice. It was about harassment, about keeping Trump tied up in legal battles, about generating negative headlines.
