And James Carville just torched the "identity left" in one brutal truth bomb that left Democrats speechless.

Democrat Party strategist James Carville appeared on Fox News Channel's Saturday in America to deliver his harshest assessment yet of what destroyed his party's 2024 chances.

Host Kayleigh McEnany asked Carville about the internal civil war raging inside Democrat ranks over the party's embrace of far-left identity politics.

"Look, here's what has Democrats squirming in their seats," Carville started. "The identity left — or you can call it woke, I hate the word woke for good reasons — it was so stupid and it was so unpopular and no one wanted to use that kind of language."

The 80-year-old strategist previously told The New York Times that Democrats became so obsessed with "identitarianism" they couldn't recover. "We could never wash off the stench of it," Carville explained.
