as NYC mayor-elect Mamdani meets Trump in White House

After the initial announcement, nothing to see until 8:01

The U.S. House of Representatives passed a resolution on Nov. 21 denouncing the “horrors of socialism.” The tally was 285-98 with two voting “present.” There were 86 Democrats who joined all Republicans to vote in favor of the resolution, which was introduced by Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar (R-Fla.), a daughter of Cuban immigrants who fled the communist regime of Fidel Castro.

There were 63 cosponsors. The resolution came as New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani, a self-described democratic socialist, visited the White House to meet with President Donald Trump, who has called him a “communist.”

To the troll--About 2,000 of the protesters on January 6th actual entered the Capitol...doors opened by Capitol guards, barricades removed, etc. Some were even escorted down the hallways by Capitol Police. 2,000 people out of 77 MILLION Trump supporters. Only one person died, Ashli Babbitt, from a guard who shot her to death. And Trump did win that election too!
