MSNOW Correspondent’s Sickening Justification for National Guardsmen Shooting
In a stunning display of moral bankruptcy that has come to define the modern liberal media, MSNOW correspondent Ken Dilanian offered a sickening and reprehensible take on the shooting of two National Guardsmen in Washington, D.C.Rather than condemning the violence against American servicemembers in the strongest possible terms, Dilanian immediately pivoted to a narrative that seemed to blame the victims and the policies of President Donald Trump for the attack.
This is what the left used to call ‘blaming the victim,’ but it is apparently acceptable to the folks at MSNOW because the victims are individuals associated with a strong, America-first administration that the network despises.
The gross and twisted reality espoused by Dilanian was laid bare during the network’s breaking news coverage. When asked about the environment in D.C. since President Trump deployed the National Guard, Dilanian responded by normalizing the controversy around the deployment before making a breathtaking leap.
“Of course, you know, there’s so much controversy happening in the United States right now with ICE, who are also wearing uniforms and wearing masks,” Dilanian told MSNOW’s Katy Tur. “And so there’s — you don’t know — people walking around with uniforms in an American city. There are some Americans that might object to that. And so apparently this shooting has happened.”
