Kevin McCarthy elected Speaker of the House

Kevin McCarthy is now Speaker of the House

It wasn’t until Friday that votes began flipping in favor of McCarthy from his much-opposed coworkers in the freedom caucus.

In the first vote of Friday, the twelfth vote, McCarthy was able to flip fourteen votes and in the second vote of Friday he was able to flip an additional vote. After an adjournment, until 10 p.m. Friday, the fourteenth vote took place but left McCarthy only one vote shy of a majority.

After what was expected to be a vote to adjourn, House Republicans walked their votes back and voted to vote again. At this time, around midnight Friday/Saturday morning votes were turned around and thrown to McCarthy giving him the necessary number and the Speakership. Those who opposed McCarthy changed their votes to Present, lowering the threshold he needed. [AmericanActionNews]

Real republicans are all for MAGA. Trump is better than most at discerning if a "supposed" republican is for MAGA or if they are actually a RHINO. Practically speaking there is no middle ground. If you are not for MAGA you might as well come out as a Democrat...which is to say a globalist and Communist (collectivist mentality rather than American Individualism).
The real republicans respect Trump's assessment of who will work toward the critical MAGA objectives, and so his recommendations for Speaker hild great weight.

If you don't like MAGA you are not a conservative and you have no business posting on this blog.

Who died and left you the boss 10:59?

Why would I walk in lockstep with MAGA, or anybody else. I believe we are born, or as the Constitution states, "endowed by the Creator with Certain Inalienable rights".

This is an important distinction between our rights as individuals, and your doctrine, which would reduce humankind to clones of one ideology or another.

Unlike you, I am a real person and I use my name...I don't hide behind anonymity. You don't have any idea why MY doctrine is...but as to posting on this blog, it is for conservatives ...which means people that embrace MAGA.
My "doctrine" fits well with "American Individualism". As far as I can tell by the posts you are making, you ascribe to a form of "collectivism"...something that has no place on a conservative blog.

That's news to me, that the Constitution espouses Collectivism.

@6:16---I think your Inalienable rights reference is the Declaration of Independence.

If you think the constitution pushes collectivism...you are hopelessly progressive /communist.
Don't let the door hit you in the butt on the way out of this blog.

You're right! I stand corrected.
