Mark Parrilla issues first Grant to needy recipient

Beverly Bracken
Recipient of first Leocadia Fonseca Community Improvement Grant

Mark Parrilla, President of the Genesis Neighborhood Association, was at City Hall Tuesday night to present Beverly Bracken with the first award of $1,209 toward an air conditioning system.

Beverly is disabled and has been living without air conditioning for 13 years. Mark was pro-active and immediately upon learning of her blight after he arranged a clean-up of her property, took action. Those involved in the Grant decided to award the $1,209.00 from the Leocadia Fonseca Community Improvement Grant (named for Mark's beloved and late grandmother), to Ms. Bracken as the 1st installment for a brand new central A/C system.

Those on hand and major contributors were Kevin Van Kirk of Banyan Printing as well as Eric Ortiz, Project Manager of E.D.S. Air Conditioning & Plumbing of Lake Worth, the company that will be doing the installation.  If you want to contribute to Mrs. Bracken's a/c, please go to Go Fund Me

Mark apologized to me. But then, I didn't have him and John Szerdi protesting in front of my residence. I think a public apology probably would suffice.

This is before my time. What race was he marginalizing? White People maybe? Does this ever end?
