Trump and the Paris Accord

Donald Trump fulfilled a campaign promise yesterday and now we will be listening to a lot of personal and ugly attacks from left-wing cable news channels and even the world at large that was given a big advantage over America in this agreement signed by Executive Order by Obama. But Obama didn't submit it to Congress for approval. That's how Trump was able to "cancel" the US's commitment to the Accord.

Now, the U.S. is free to re-enter "either the Paris accord or an entirely new transaction on terms that are fair to the United States, its its businesses, its workers, its people, its taxpayers."

But Trump is ready for the heat for what he did yesterday by getting out of the Paris Accords and plans to negotiate a different "deal." I already had someone come on this blog and call our president a "buffoon." Every Democrat will be blowing smoke and Al Gore probably still has heart palpitations.

Here are some reasons why he did the right thing:
  • The Paris Agreement was costly and ineffective.
  • The agreement wasted taxpayer money.
  • Withdrawal is a demonstration of leadership
  • Withdrawal is good for American energy competitiveness

Paris accord was not about climate change. It was about fuc$ing the American people and wealth distribution.Thank God for a President that answers to Americans, not other nations.

Tell me that Americans care about the environment, when every grossly overweight man or woman sits alone in a vehicle one and one half to twice the size of the average car. And often with a superfluous handicapped license that is still there from whatever deceased relative they used to cart around: Eating three times what a normal size person should eat to maintain the ideal weight, thus creating enough garbage for 3 people. And these people care about climate change? The only thing they care about is the price at the pump, and not running out of beer or ice cream.

Sometimes it's a medical problem. Sometimes it's from drinking too much beer.
