Dream Act

The DREAM Act would cost Florida taxpayers an estimated $472 million more a year in college tuition subsidies while potentially crowding out citizens, according to a new report from the Center for Immigration Studies.

Donna-
I found your image under general images on the Internet. I have no idea what Flicker is...don't use it. There was no copywrite associated with it. Carry on the good work.

All photos taken since April 1, 1989 are considered copyrighted by the photographer from the moment they were taken, even if they do not have a copyright notice. Just because someone may have made a screen shot of one of my photos and put it on another site, this does not negate my copyright, and it definitely does not absolve you of copyright infringement. You are lucky I took the time to send a notice because a lot of photographers I know would have send an invoice instead. The best practice is to never post a photo unless you have permission from the photographer, or unless there is a statement of release to public domain on Wikipedia. For some interesting reading on copyright myths, see - http://www.templetons.com/brad/copymyths.html

Thank you, Donna. If you wish to e-mail me, you can at lynn113@comcast.net.
This is a blog that is quite old now and normally I would not have even gone back to it to post a comment.
You seem to be very upset. I took it down immediately.
I am a photographer and find my photos all over the place. It is not a worry to me but I certainly apologize to you. I will try to be much more careful in the future. Thanks for calling it to my attention.
It was a great shot, by the way.
