All five White House television pool members, including Fox News, agreed to halt pooled coverage of President Trump

This occurred after the administration banned CNN, MSNBC, and Politico, a move the outlets are now challenging in federal court

The suspension landed Monday, the same day CNN was scheduled to serve as the rotating pool representative inside the White House. Instead of providing the shared camera feed that every network relies on for presidential events, the pool went dark.

Fox News Media, ABC News, CBS News, CNN, and NBC News issued a joint statement announcing the stand-down, framing it as a defense of independent reporting rather than a favor to any single competitor.

The trigger was straightforward: the Trump administration revoked press credentials for journalists at CNN, MSNBC, and Politico, accusing the three outlets of publishing what the president called "fake news."

The three banned organizations responded by filing a lawsuit the same morning, invoking the First Amendment. The collision between the White House and the press corps now sits in two arenas, the courts and the briefing room, with no clear resolution in sight.

This is the first time I can remember Fox News siding against Trump, effectifvely removing him from his biggest market on cable news.

Sen. Cory Booker wants to impose term limits on Supreme Court justices and strip the Court of what he calls its independence, framing the proposal as ethics reform while Democrats openly debate how to reshape a bench they no longer control.

The New Jersey Democrat appeared on NBC's "Meet the Press" on Sunday and laid out a plan he said he developed with unnamed Senate colleagues: 18-year terms for justices, two guaranteed appointments per president, and new ethics rules targeting what Booker described as justices accepting "unlimited gifts from billionaires."

He offered no bill name, no co-sponsor list, and no specific ethics violation to justify the overhaul, just the assertion that the highest court in the country is broken and needs fixing on his terms.

Host Kristen Welker set the table by noting that former Vice President Kamala Harris has pushed Democrats to add four justices outright. Welker told Booker the Court has become "a big debate in your party." Booker positioned himself as the reasonable alternative, the senator who wants "pragmatic solutions" rather than raw court-packing.

The woman who stood beside Minnesota Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan in a viral hijab video now runs an autism center under active state investigation for fraud, and both have stayed silent about it.

Nimco Ahmed, a longtime Democratic, Farmer, Labor Party activist and CEO of Milestone Development Center, appeared alongside Flanagan during a December visit to the Karmel Somali market in Minnesota. Flanagan donned a hijab for the occasion, and the video, posted by Somali TV Minnesota, spread quickly online. But what the video did not show was what state regulators were already finding behind the scenes at Ahmed's autism services operation.

The Minnesota Department of Human Services confirmed it has open investigations into both Milestone Development Center and Spectrum Therapy Center. The state terminated both agencies from the Medicaid program under a compliance review called Minnesota Revalidate 2026, a process that checks whether providers hold required credentials and follow state and federal rules. Both providers have appealed their terminations.

A 25-year friendship and a fraud inquiry--Ahmed and Flanagan have been friends for nearly 25 years, Fox News Digital reported, citing Alpha News. Ahmed is listed online as CEO of Milestone Development Center. Flanagan, who has served as lieutenant governor since 2019, is now running for the U.S. Senate as a Democrat.

Once inside, officers quickly realized the animals were in urgent trouble and called Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control for backup.>br />
Following a weeks-long investigation into the grim discovery, the 34-year-old was arrested on Wednesday for seven felony counts of aggravated animal cruelty and four misdemeanor counts of animal abandonment.

Inspectors say they entered the home to find stagnant air thick with the smell of waste, with urine and feces scattered on the floor. In a dark hallway, they found two rusted wire cages stacked on top of each other, holding about seven dogs cramped together without food or water.

Amendment 3 Property Tax

Florida TaxWatch Recommends ‘No’ Vote on Amendment 3

Florida TaxWatch is recommending that voters reject Amendment 3, the property tax proposal appearing on Florida’s Nov. 3 general election ballot, citing concerns about its fiscal impact, potential tax shifts and the process used to place the measure before voters.

The nonprofit taxpayer research institute issued the recommendation last week as part of its 2026 voter guide examining the three constitutional amendments on the statewide ballot. Florida TaxWatch recommends “yes” votes on Amendments 1 and 2 and a “no” vote on Amendment 3.

Amendment 3 would increase the homestead exemption for non-school property taxes from $51,411 to $150,000 in 2027 and $250,000 in 2028, with inflation adjustments thereafter. It would also reduce the annual cap on assessment increases for non-homestead properties from 10 percent to 5 percent. The measure would take effect Jan. 1, 2027, if approved by at least 60 percent of voters.

Florida TaxWatch said the proposal would provide substantial tax relief to homestead property owners but warned that the reduction in taxable value could produce significant revenue losses for counties, municipalities and special districts.

The organization cited a state revenue estimate projecting local property tax collections would decline by $4.9 billion in 2027 and $8.7 billion in 2028, with the cumulative reduction reaching about $45.8 billion over five years under current millage rates.

TaxWatch also raised concerns that local governments could respond to the lower tax base by increasing millage rates, fees or other revenue sources, potentially shifting a greater share of the tax burden toward businesses, rental properties and other non-homestead property.

The group further criticized the speed with which the proposal advanced through the Legislature, arguing that a change of its scale warranted additional study and stakeholder input.

Florida TaxWatch said property tax relief is justified but contended that broader reforms should address both homestead and non-homestead taxpayers while also examining local government spending and revenue growth.

New York is in a death-spiral, and has been for several years now. If I had to point to the moment it started to tank, I’d go back to November 2018 when the Democrats gained 100% control over the State. In that election cycle, the Republicans lost control of the NYS Senate, the Democrats achieved one-party-rule, and the chokehold began.

I’ve said this many times before… one-party rule is toxic, no matter which party it is. The reason for that is because when you have total control over a state (particularly one of the largest in our country), you develop a sense of entitlement and superiority like you’ve never felt before.

The Democrats have majority control over our NYS Senate and super-majority control over our Assembly. This means they do not need even 1 Republican vote to make laws, change laws, direct agency regs, etc. This also means there is zero negotiating going on across the aisle. You, the party in power, are quite literally unstoppable, and so you become emboldened.

Homeless Fraud in Los Angeles

Trump admin unearths $75M in ‘homeless industrial complex’ fraud

The federal taxpayer dollars were spent on Los Angeles mansions, luxury vehicles, pricey vacations, and paying bail for domestic assault charges. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Turner pledged, “No more.”

Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Scott Turner announced Sept. 16 that his agency had identified approximately $75 million laundered through homeless services, mostly in California.

States and cities receiving federal taxpayer dollars to support homeless people funneled that money into nonprofit and non-governmental organizations, where the taxpayer dollars were spent on lavish vacations, private jets, luxury automobiles, opening nightclubs, and other personal ventures, according to the announcement.

The “homeless industrial complex,” as Turner called it, involves nonprofits and non-governmental organizations that take federal taxpayer dollars, administered by states, and register non-existent identities as “homeless people” receiving aid, when no such people exist and no aid is given to real homeless people.

Hegseth Review Could Withdraw Up to 40,000 U.S. Troops From Europe

The United States is weighing a major force-structure shakeup that could pull thousands of troops out of Western Europe, according to a new report from NBC News. One scenario could remove up to one-third of the troops stationed there, or about 25,000 service members. Other estimates put the possible number at 40,000, which would be roughly half of the U.S. forces based in Europe.

These figures describe possible scenarios, not a final troop movement order. Still, the review signals that Washington is taking a hard look at where American forces are stationed and how much of Europe’s defense the United States should continue to carry.

European Governments Are Alarmed--The possibility of such dramatic cuts has alarmed lawmakers from both parties and European governments worried that Russia could be emboldened. Germany, Italy, and Spain are likely to be impacted, NBC News reported, citing officials it did not name.

Those countries have some of the largest concentrations of American troops in Europe. They were also at odds with President Donald Trump over the war in Iran. The message from Washington is becoming difficult to miss: NATO allies cannot expect America to handle the heavy lifting forever.

Trump Points to Poland--Even as the review raises questions about the U.S. presence in Western Europe, Trump said America will not abandon its allies. He pointed to Poland as a possible location for a new U.S. Army base. “Thanks to the bold leadership of my friend, Karol Nawrocki, President of Poland, major progress is being made toward establishing a U.S. Army base in Poland,” Trump wrote.

He added that if the plan moves forward, the location would be announced very soon, calling it a historic step for the U.S.-Polish alliance. The post placed Poland at the center of Trump’s message about maintaining strong partnerships while reviewing America’s broader military posture.

Pritzker compares AI to nuclear weapons, demands federal regulation while eyeing 2028

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker (worth $4.2 billion dollars) is pushing Congress to treat artificial intelligence as a threat comparable to nuclear weapons, while simultaneously auditioning for a national stage with less than seven weeks until the midterms.

Pritzker, a Democrat, sat for an exclusive interview on ABC's "This Week" that aired Sunday, urging federal lawmakers to make AI regulation a top priority. He called the technology dangerous "on the level of nuclear weapons" and took direct aim at President Trump's approach to the industry, accusing the administration of letting AI companies police themselves.

The governor signed an AI safety law in Illinois in July that requires companies to submit to annual third-party audits of their safety plans and disclose safety incidents to the state. But Pritzker argued that state-level action is not enough, and that Washington's inaction amounts to recklessness.

In the interview with co-anchor Jonathan Karl, Pritzker told ABC News that AI regulation must be a national and international effort because the technology cannot be contained by any single state.

Comparing a commercial technology to nuclear weapons is the kind of rhetoric that sounds serious without doing any of the work of being serious.

President Trump has called AI fears a "hoax" and announced the formation of an "AI Force" aimed at accelerating growth in the industry.

And Joy Behar said something about Donald Trump on live TV that may cost Disney its broadcast license. Wednesday's broadcast – where Behar implied the sitting president performs sex acts with animals – is going to be Exhibit A in whatever hearing comes next.

The setup was a Senate hearing clip – one the left-wing media chopped and edited to remove all context. FBI Director Kash Patel was explaining something critical: the FBI's new hiring guidelines exist partly to help sex trafficking victims. Women who were trafficked, forced into prostitution and bestiality by their captors, wanted to help other victims after escaping.

The old FBI rules barred them from service because of what was done to them. Wednesday's broadcast – where a co-host implied the sitting president performs sex acts with animals – is going to be Exhibit A in whatever hearing comes next.

This Is a Pattern, Not a Slip--Behar has a history of saying exactly the wrong thing at exactly the wrong moment for ABC's legal position.

America Is Importing More Venezuelan Oil While Production Stays Flat

Trump Freed Venezuela’s Oil From Maduro and Washington’s Own Paperwork Is Strangling It

American forces dragged Nicolás Maduro out of Venezuela back in January and handed Trump the world's largest oil reserves.

Eight months later those same oil fields are still producing barely more than they did under the dictator. One piece of leftover paperwork in Washington is deciding how much cheaper your gas gets from here.

Venezuela sits on more proven oil reserves than any country on Earth. Trump ended Maduro's rule in January and promised those barrels would flow to American refineries instead of funding a dictator's drug routes. They are flowing.

U.S. imports of Venezuelan crude climbed from 200,000 barrels a day in January to 630,000 barrels a day by June, according to Energy Information Administration data.

That sounds like a flood. It is not.
