Illegal alien who committed triple murder, gets life
Fox News just announced that Rodolfo Godinez, the first defendant of the triple murders in New Jersey is an Illegal immigrant and a member of MS-13, an international criminal gang known for extreme and bloody violence. It was further stated that the Mexican drug cartel that crosses the Arizona border day and night 24/7/365, recruits this vicious gang for its drug activities.
Fox said Godinez was arrested in 2006 for aggravated assault and has a 31 count indictment which includes child molestation and threatening the family of the little girl he molested. At that time, he was allowed to bond out at 150,000 and then murdered three college students and shot a fourth just for fun--it was some sort of gang initiation.
This would not have happened if we had secure borders. All elected officials who condone illegal immigration are a party to these murders. MS-13 is in Lake Worth

Honor our Laws and our Language
Article II, Section 9, of the Florida Constitution provides that "English is the official language of the State of Florida." This provision was adopted in 1988 by a vote following an Initiative Petition.
This is just another law that the State does not adhere nor does the City of Lake Worth. It is costing millions to print material in other languages and that was just one of the reasons back in 1988 that voters in the State wanted English as its official language. We see printed matter in other languages here in Lake Worth, even signs at our beach.
To tie up a city commission meeting with people, some of whom are most likely (they always are at these things and brag about it to boot) here illegally, speaking Spanish with an interpreter, has gone beyond reasonable. For illegal aliens to come in and demand free services, in a free building where they have even demanded toilet paper...The Mentoring Center, a Lake Worth city building... is an insult to all citizens of Lake Worth.
Our progressive commission chooses to forget State and Federal law and all Commissioners who continually ignore the laws and stick it in the face of the citizens, should step down. But they believe there are "bad" laws and laws that should be broken. Actually some must believe that laws are just inconveniences to their personal beliefs. They don't listen to the citizens only the stacked chamber of their supporters...domestic terrorists.

Well, not really. Bernie is in prison for scamming people with dreams of making tons of money. He took them for a ride at a tune of $65 billion. We don’t have scams of this magnitude but we are taken for a ride almost on a yearly basis.
Why do we allow ourselves to get involved in these “money making schemes?” We are desperate and we need money and we are not alone. A vast majority of cities throughout the country are in the same boat. Smart people get scammed every day and believe that any possible source of revenue must be good. It’s not just Lake Worth.
When times are tough, the scam artists multiply and the City continues to open itself up to be stepped on and abused and taken advantage of over and over again. We can never rise from it. Staff presents proposals from vendors (salesmen) and accept all of it as gospel and we say, “Wow,” what a great idea and seldom is there any supporting documentation from anywhere--EVER-- other than from the guy coming into town wanting to take our money, selling Staff on a pipe dream that we might make—wow--$1.4 million or thereabouts (there is never any back-up on-line) on red light cameras as an example, when the proposed Budget estimates us making $100,000.
We expect Staff to bring us the facts of the matter. They don’t. Any stupid salesman can come into our city with a scheme. We need to be protected. We need to be protected from Staff that presents it to a City Commission that relies on facts and professional judgment. They vote and get us into big trouble. The FAB several months ago said it did not want vendors making presentations. So, instead, now we have Staff making presentations for them.
This is the same sort of thing that got us into the mess with Greater Bay. This is what sold us down the garden path with the Billboard Mafia. We never got the $2.310 million from them. They continued to sue us for one thing or another and we eventually settled for $765,000 less than the Contract. And we have this blight for 20 years because we fell in love with the potential of $$$ versus sense.
As Dee McNamara said last night, Florida is the SCAM capital of the country and she probably isn’t that far off.
If anyone from Staff comes to the Commission or to the Financial Advisory Board, please have all of the facts—do the homework—do the research—call the Better Business Bureau at least. Do not rely on sales pitches presented by salesmen that want to take our money for a service that will mostly be to their benefit, not ours.

We need to Stop the Insanity
Massachusetts received $45.4 million in stimulus money to expand broadband access in the western part of the State where some towns have virtually no high-speed Internet service. Overall, the 2009 stimulus package includes $7.2 billion to upgrade the nation’s data networks. If the Federal government can spend money such as this, and there were many “silly” programs, then surely it can extend unemployment benefits in this down economy.
There are many receiving benefits who are perfectly happy to be getting the hand-out because they simply do not want to work and will tackle the job problem right before their benefits run out. You know the type. We have all met them. But the overall majority of people who have lost their jobs are worried and they are hurting. The Stimulus plan was to jump start economic growth, and save between 900,000 - 2.3 million jobs. It has not.
If we can send money all over the world helping out this foreign country and that, we can help our own people first. The jobless rate is right around 10%. Why not encourage American corporations to hire US labor and stop the off-shoring by giving them tax incentives to do so? The government is taxing business to death. We need to spend money where it will increase productivity and get people back to work.
The Republicans have a very strong point and do, in spite of the Democratic hype, support extended unemployment benefits. "I support, and Republicans have supported, extending unemployment benefits, but we must not do so at a cost to the deficit, to the economy and to future generations. Our inability to get our fiscal house in order isn't just damaging future generations; it is wreaking havoc on jobs today," said Rep. Dave Camp, R-Michigan. Also on Thursday he called the newest extension plan "fiscal insanity" because it is not paid for and will only create future problems.
Pelosi criticized Republicans last week by saying that she's still optimistic that the bill will pass though it failed again in the Senate Wednesday night. She said that unemployment checks "created jobs."
Some people say there is no difference in the two major Political Parties because we are all fed up with the economy, the gridlock and all the other stuff not being addressed like illegal immigration but there is a difference—the Democrats are tax and spend and building up a debt that is out of control and one in which we can no longer afford. The Republicans are saying let’s have less government and come up with a plan rather than dishing out taxpayer money…spending cuts should be made in other federal programs to cover the costs for extended unemployment benefits. Which one makes the most sense?
Here in Lake Worth, City Manager, Susan Stanton, is attempting to reduce the cost of government without laying off employees. Without your help and the cooperation of the Unions that want it all, her job will be impossible.
Cut the waste; stop the Unions; take back the City that you pay for. Lake Worth needs to stop the spending. Just because it is budgeted does not mean that we have to spend it. It's not as if it is burning a hole in the pocket of government.

Public Commentary at City Hall

UPDATE: I was told by a Commissioner that the reason there was NO public commentary for those items pulled in the Consent Agenda, Unfinished or New Business was that the Chamber was literally emptied after Public Commentary. Those advocates for the Mentoring Center stacked the Chamber.
Right now at City Hall there is public commentary regarding The Resource Center, aka, Illegal Hiring Hall. People are actually speaking in SPANISH!!! And when they complete their two minutes, they get applause.
Who stacked this Chamber once again? Which Commissioners? Lisa Wilson? Both? More? Progressives? People who live off of government for their very existence? People who are hell bent on ruining our city? Who?
This lack of government response to the illegal problem has been one of the main reasons many people sympathize with and support Arizona's SB 1070. We have "had it" and have no understanding why elected officials here and elsewhere turn their head and do not enforce the Constitution and the law.

Chocolate Cake--and don't make a racist deal out of itThe basic law of human stupidity says no matter how high are one's estimates of human stupidity, one is repeatedly and recurrently startled by the fact that: people whom one had once judged rational and intelligent turn out to be unashamedly stupid. Sometimes city commission meetings get really boring or really stupid too. Today was one of those days for me.
While describing small plaques approximately 2 feet by 1 foot that will have historical facts inscribed and will be installed on the walkways throughout our beach park, Commissioner Golden took umbrage—Her problem? She said that prior to 1960, black people couldn’t even go to certain places, intimating our beach as an example. She said that the plaques would only have “white faces” on them. So she was not too keen on the idea.
Let's face it--Aside from the political pandering, Commissioner Golden is just not too keen on history. She has said that. But then why does she bring up "historical facts" that aren't even relative or even true?
First of all, the beach was never off limits to people of color. Back before the Civil Rights Act of 1964, it was an “equal but separate” philosophy.
At the last Census Lake Worth had an estimated Black/African American population of 6,627, which is 18.9 percent of the total population in town (The U.S. average is 12.30%). Today, because of the big influx of immigrants, I am rather sure that number is much higher.
Blacks did not come to the beach when I was a kid in the 50's nor do they come to the beach that much today. I don't know why they don't but perhaps Golden should ask them. Maybe they don't like to get sunburned.
Times change but whether blacks show up at our public beach or use the pool or not, does not change what has occurred there--it is part of our history. So, for Commissioner Golden to make a “racist” thing out of historical plaques and want to eliminate them because her sense of justice has been offended somehow really takes the cake.
P.S. And for the guy who wanted to sell us solar panels, who did not live in Lake Worth and who thought that people who do not live here should have a voice on how our beach should look and be allowed to take the survey, I invite him to move here, help pay the taxes and the maintenance at our beach. Until then, forget it.

To help eradicate this power of corruption, Florida Hometown Democracy will take away the money under the table vote. If residents can vote on land-use changes instead of just the politicians who sit on the dais, the influence peddling will come to a screeching halt.
Here in Florida we have had massive corruption throughout the last two decades involving developers and elected officials. More and more of them are exposed every day. Palm Beach County sent several to prison and here in Lake Worth, we have had horrible recommendations from our Planning & Zoning Board and irresponsible votes from the dais.
It is time this November 2nd that we help end that and tell the politicians, the developers, the Chamber of Commerce, the Realtors and all those only interested in lining their pockets or making money at the expense of our great State, that we have had enough.

Jupiter a sanctuary for illegal immigrants
Jupiter saw the light and became a sanctuary city for illegal aliens. That's right! Look it up!
"Sanctuary city" is a term given to cities that follow practices that protect illegal immigrants, and Jupiter along with Lake Worth are the model cities in the state of Florida.
Generally, sanctuary policies instruct city employees not to notify the federal government of the presence of illegal aliens living in the community.
According to Town Councilman Jim Kuretski and Mayor Karen Golonka, "immigrants perform work and services that many Americans won't. Immigrants pay taxes to local governments and they are eager to learn English."
The city officials' justification for creating sanctuary cities is often under the guise of protecting "immigrant rights." But illegal aliens are not immigrants. Immigrants come to the U.S. legally and maintain their legal presence. When a person is illegally smuggled into the U.S. or violates visa restrictions, he or she is not an immigrant or visitor, but an illegal alien subject to deportation. Except in Jupiter!
What can we do to help stop sanctuary policies? Demand change!
