Broward Councilwoman charged with the Big "C"

Corruption is the name of the game for some politicians. We have more than our share in Florida and as the graph below depicted, Florida is number ONE for corrupt public officials. What a distinction! It is no wonder our State is going to hell in a hand-basket. And illegal immigration doesn't help.

The latest of a string of corrupt officials charged with corruption. Read more about Diana Wasserman-Rubin who resigned from the Broward County Commission.

Wasserman-Rubin represented District 8, which covers parts of Weston, Pembroke Pines, Pembroke Park, Miramar, Southwest Ranches, West Park and northwest Hallandale Beach. Born in Cuba, she was the first Hispanic county commissioner elected in Broward and the first commissioner to serve in the largely ceremonial role of county mayor.
